Danebury Avenue Post Office

Friendly staff, longer opening hours than most post offices. This is convenient if you work during the week and need to send or collect a parcel. Yes, sometimes there are queues - but they're usually shorter than other post offices I've used in London.

Customer service is very poor. No thank you, see you again, no smiles. Waited in a queue today with no one in front of me however the lady was having some login issues and instead of apologising for the wait, sat there yawning. If they don't like working there they can give up their seat for people who are looking for jobs! Simple

The staff are unbelievably rude.
One of them sat there and argued with me and looked miserable, unprofessional and rude.
The older lady that works there was walking and as she was walking, walked right into me and pushed me with her shoulder out of her way. Absolute weirdo.

There are a lot of negative reviews here, which must be about different staff to those currently running the post office counter. The young woman who serves me regularly is polite, efficient and very professional.

The staff on the Post Office counter are always pleasant, professional and helpful. Unfortunately the lady who serves on the retail counter didn't exchange one word with me this morning when I went to pay for something; merely gesticulating towards the card machine. Not only is this extremely rude, but not good publicity for you. Can someone please instruct her in the art of good customer service or employ someone who knows how to treat customers?

I have to say 1 star is too much for the older lady who is working on the retail counter. I have never seen a person who can be as rude as her, even a normal person who does not work in the service industry is better than her.
I am not complaining to the post office. The ladies in the post office are actually very nice.

Unfriendly and unhelpful?. Obviously not the same Danebury Avenue branch I use regularly!. I can guarantee a friendly smile and perfect service every time I call in and that's at least once a week.
