Upper Tooting Sub Post Office

I am running a small business and been using this post office to send out parcels every day for last 7 months. I've never had a bad experience (even during Covid-19), the staff is in fact very friendly and accommodating - be it at the back of the shop as well as the front. It's beyond me to understand why other people comment the staff is rude. Yes - the shop gets busy at certain times and sometimes you have to queue for 10 minutes, but the customer service is always good.

I'm surprised by the low reviews received by this post office. We use it semi-regularly and yes, it can be a little slow if it's busy. It's a small office with perhaps two windows open and certainly only one under CV19. But the service has always been polite and efficient.

What I have seen are people treat the staff absolutely terribly for no reason. This post office can not make your drivers licence or passport application go through faster. They don't set the costs for stamps or express shipping. The amount of money in your accounts are not their responsibility. In normal times, don't visit it around school dropoff and pickup when it's full of yummy mummies returning their online shopping.

The woman in this post office is SO RUDE and snide. She asked me what I need to send and then said "you don't need that" and "it's too expensive to send. I guess you are not sending it." What a... do not use this post office!

Refused to print my postage label and send a parcel I'd paid for online on the Royal Mail website, where it specifically said I could do this.

The lady was very helpful as I need to select a box in which to send a return back, and she made the experience a whole lot better... this was the first time that I've sent something back this way....find a evri shop, take the barcode, wrapp item send it off....all different places, knightmare but READY for the next Rtn. 👍🏾🤌🏾

The woman in the post office is incredibly rude. Took literally 1 second to look for my parcel & didn't find it. She then went on a rant about RoyalMail lying and my parcel wasn't there. Ranted "why would your parcel be here we're not your local post office!" just as she'd convinced me to leave and walk to a different office, she found my name on a list and found my parcel. She then tried to backtrack it all and got very aggro when I reminded her she said it wasn't there. She was insanely rude about it and said a sarcy "thank you".

After reading other reviews I can see I'm not the only one who's had to deal with this nasty woman.

It should be no star rating. Most horrible experience. Why nothing is been done in regards to these two people the old lady at the counter in the post 📫 office and the man with the glasses. After so much of complaints they still not changed. Extremely rude behaviour and not doing their job. Its not organised hence the chaos. They make u feel that you have committed some crime arguing and confusing me. They way the lady twist and turns her words and lying to just check simple parcel. My online app says its delivered to the post office. But she saying its not their. They make u feel so anxious, disturbed like u walking out of there traumatised. Even after speaking politely. Simple pathetic.

As someone who has had numerous bad experiences across London at different post office services, thought I'd review! He gentleman here was very helpful and explained the best time to come to make sure my parcel had definitely arrived. It goes a long way to be friendly in London. Thank you
