Brabazon Road Post Office

The staff at this Post Office are very rude. During my last visit the young lady at the counter gave me orders in very stern tone (e.g. "Put it on the scales!", " show me the label!"); no "please" or "thank you". Possibly the worst customer service experience in a long time. Was adamant that I had to pay for a parcel return without scanning the prepaid label, then reluctantly tried when she saw I gave up and was about to walk out; no apology when proved wrong. I will happily go to another post office further away to avoid this 'service'.

Lady on the post office counter is very slow and no manners. Never says thanks or this that.
Ladies who serve next to her on the counter have no manners at all. Rude and uneducated manners.
They all need sacking. If you have issues at home, keep them at home, don't bring them to work and be rude to your customers. Without us you would not have a job and be on benefits. Simple

I redirected my parcel to this particular post office as I wasn’t going to be home when it arrived. Simple right, NO!!! Got a message from Royal mail that it was ready for collection, so went to collect it. It wasn’t there, so was told to go back the next day. I did, but the parcel was still not there. The lady at the post office advised me to contact Royal mail and ask them where my parcel was, which I did. Customer service had this to say; When the postman delivered it to the post office, the parcel was placed in the outgoing pile instead of the pile that had just arrived, which was the only explanation as to why my parcel was on its way back to the sender without me even receiving it in the first place. When I asked the post office about it, they feigned ignorance, saying the parcel never arrived at the post office in the first place. Funny thing is you can see the tracking history of where the parcel had been, and when on the royal mail website. I had to tell the sender to re-ship my stuff and wait longer still to receive it. Still fuming from the whole experience.
Ps: some of the stuff was out of stock 😡😡.

AVOID even as a last option. The old lady is slower than a turtle, has no clue what she is doing, very rude, takes personal phone calls whilst serving customers, takes breaks in between customers, I don’t understand why they can’t open the second counter when the line is over 25 people long, other workers chose to chill on their phones and not help out, not to mention that she allows her friends and family to jump the line. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Wanted to send a letter recorded - the women who manned the post office, served the man in front and told me it's closed for lunch - no sign to say it's closed! The cashier was exceptionally rude!

I always find them welcoming and get the job done, just one counter, can be hectic for customers and the staff to manage at busy times!
Otherwise all good and handy to have local post office.

Place is a joke. Woman working there is rude and incompetent at her role and you’ll be waiting here in a queue for so long. I can’t believe they’re still allowed to operate and she works here

Busy at the Post Office but queue did decrease quite fairly. The lady serving was very helpful and could probably do with an extra person/till to help when the queue is busy.
