Post box - Royal Mail (Weedon Lane)

The Royal Mail post pillar box in Chesham Bois on Copperkins Lane near the T-junction with Weedon Lane. It was very dirty when I photographed it, but I expect it will get repainted during the COVID-19 virus pandemic, as many other have been in the Hemel HP postcode areas. It's located in the shade of trees so doesn't show up that well, certainly not in its dirty state. I suspect it gets many visits from passing motorists including Rugby Club traffic. You can pull over kerbside but not up onto the grass verge. I see a row of white painted rocks have been placed on the verge on both sides of the road by the box. I'm guessing many vehicles were mounting the kerb damaging the grass which annoyed a local resident, as councils don't normally do that.
