Caledonian Road Post Office

The best post office on this side of the Thames! You are made to feel welcomed, treated like a king/queen, and this is all happening while the shop is filled with 24 impatient customers all wanting to get their package in first! The queue system is very simple, and the professional team plus the incredible Andy at this post office are extremely patient and kind with all individuals. The also have a fine selection of birthday cards! I go here nearly everyday and they are always smiling - rain, sun, snow, sleet, power cut, end of the world, these guys will always be here making sure our post gets to where it needs to go!

Hi I went to this post office to post a parcel, I was very happy with the service the guy called Andy gave me. Very polite and friendly. He helps me to send the parcel to Germany. Great customer service. I would recommend this post office to anyone.

An amazing Post Office here at Caledonian Road! The staff are always super nice and friendly. Even at busy times the staff remain super professional and friendly. If I could give 0 I would! I’ve been going to this post office for years and honestly have had no issue. Today I needed to put cash into my account and the gentlemen who claims his names Mr Patel which was the first time he has served me was very rude, he stated I need to put the £20.00 notes head up and how they cannot be backwards? Honestly I’m humming how miserable an individual can be?! Normally another guy serves me or a lady which have great customer service. If he had told me in a nice manner I’d understand he was extremely rude. What difference does it makes for the notes to be all up where Elizabeth’s face is shown? I’ve never ever heard of this or ever been told to do this previously. The man obviously needs to retire and isn’t happy with his life. Disgusting service from this post office from Mr Patel, I pray you find happiness within.

I have been using the Caledonian Road post office for the past 3-4 years now and never experience such a disgraceful behaviour from any staff member in any field - let alone customer service !
I have had 8 big boxes to send as a return from an online purchase - return label was in the form of a QR code - that the post-office could scan and print as many as necessary according to the staff there. I went in Friday to ask for information - prior to bringing the big boxes in trying to avoid multiple unnecessary trips.
Initially I was told by a staff member on Friday that it would be ok to bring the items (shown a picture with the exact packages) - saturday 31/12/22.
I bring the packages saturday - Mr Patel said they cannot accept this many items and forced me to take them back home. Left very annoyed and upset because it defeated my purpose of asking information 1 day prior.
I have now return WED 04/01/23 to be told again by Mr Patel in a very disrespectful manner that he will only accept 1 parcel/return label. I got a bit annoyed again and said to him that HE personally told me i could bring them between mon-fri to return all 8 boxes on the sample QR return label.
When I had insisted he accepts my parcels under the 1 QR return label - Mr Patel started to raise his voice and shouted at me to leave the premisses - this was after dragging me back and forth with a lot of parcels - loosing my time and sending me on a wild goose-chase. Sir, you work for a private company working in the public sector - how dare you? no really...
Fortunately Ms Raksha overheard the entire conversation and kindly accepted my parcels under the 1 QR return label and was very kind during the whole process - as a private service provider employee should be. 5stars for Ms Raksha.
I think Mr Patel should be fired and hire someone else that can speak normally to customers and at least more competent as a Post worker.
