Kenyon Street Post Office

My local post office where the owner is a very nice person. I know, because I have met him several times. Having said that, there is one person who works there (who was there today on the post office counter 26.2.22 @2.00pm) who is just not up to a customer facing role and always offers poor service. Months back, I requested a full receipt of postage for signed-for items , and he said "I don't do that" to which I responded "the other guy who works here does it" to which he then responded "..he likes to do everything for the customers as he does not want problems." Instead of receiving a full receipt for each item, I received a little receipt with the 4 numbers on it which bears no address/postcode or country details. Furthermore, on today's visit, I received the same thing, with the usual, no "hello" and a care-less attitude from a no-manners jobsworth. I do not want silver service . I just expect the reciprocation of respect and courtesy which I am displaying. I have the utmost respect for the service that Post Offices provide. I will, from now on, visit the post office on Dawes Road, and tell everyone who I know in my area to do the same. I would welcome a response from the owner.

Do not use this post office. The guy behind the counter is not friendly and isn’t helpful at all. He tries to charge you the most expensive service to send a parcel without telling you the other options. The opening times are ridiculous, it opens at midday. He is honestly just so rude and has a careless attitude towards customers that I won’t be going there.

I’ve never used such a dreadful post office - they are rude and unhelpful and always try to get you to buy the most expensive option and now I may have to report them to the police, because I believe they’ve not posted a package that I left with them with this week. I would not trust them with your post - go elsewhere.

really? are the people around here super rich? the most expensive off license ever... I m to poor to come here again. And the post office has ome very weird opening hours. Not for me

The people managing this shop are rude and unprofessional. It’s the closest post office point I have, so I’ve been ignoring their rude manners for quite some time. However, today I’ve decided enough is enough.

Not only they have the worst possible attitude, they also didn’t take responsibility for their items. I hadn’t even left the shop when my purchase proved to be faulty and they didn’t want to offer me another one or a refund.

They’ve lost a client.

Conveniently close so I tolerate their high prices,but I just wish they would learn the common courtesies of saying "Please" when they ask for my money,and then "Thank You" when I give it to them"!!

Terrible service. Terrible attitude. Try to rip you off by automatically charging highest tariffs

I ordered from Amazon for collection and they refused to hand over my delivery 2 days before Christmas. Completely unacceptable considering it’s not even shipped via Royal Mail and it was purely handing me the item.
