Clifton Road Post Office

The best local Post Office, you could ever hope for! The best I've ever been too. The kindest, nicest staff. I use this post office when in the area. I don't understand why there are all these bad reviews, I can only conclude it must be from the rude customers I have seen in there. If you had been to my local Post Office: Highbury Barn you would know what rude service is like.

If some senior in post reading this please inspect this post office branch . This people work behind this counters are fraud . The closing time is 7pm they refuse to serve me and it was not even 7pm, it was 6.54 pm , the guy behind the counter is very rude saying post office is close I said it’s 7pm he replied back I have one customer here , I can see him fiddling behind the counter I don’t know what but he didn’t seem right to me this people are very impatient with customers they don’t know how to treat customers most of them are Indian background and if you ask them for some help of or advice they seem to be not bothered I have seen bad customer service in other branches they sit in the chair ko greet no smile no hello nothing . Post office used to be good back in days people used to be trained properly now it’s anyone can work in post office and majority of them are Indian South Indian background with no customer service at all what a shame to British Post Office !!

Terrible service closed post office early and didn’t serve me and then lied and said they close at that time I came back and said it says you close 6pm and said owell too late now. So rude and disgraceful.

This post office needs to be investigated. If they dont have space, their license should be revoked. They didnt accept my order saying that there is no space left. Extremely unprofessional.

Man wrote a postcode wrong and tracking number came out different . Letter did not arrive. Went to ask them but received nasty remarks and no help or apologies. Crooks and nasty people there. Don’t trust them

These guys are crooks and thieves, don’t send your parcels there for collection. They claim they don’t have it then yell at you for suggesting otherwise. Most of the male staff are lazy, not bothered to check the system, then act hostile and yell. The lady is ok. I have raised a complaint to parcel force to blacklist this address as a collection point.

A disgrace to the Royal Mail. Verbally aggressive and chauvinist behaviour from the staff with no exception to the Manager. I was literally subjected to tears by these men and there is no coincidence that the other less than satisfactory reviews are all left by women. I am sure my husband's 4 different proof of ID would have been sufficient and he wouldn't of been subjected to any of the above.

I find some of the reviews here very strange. I've known the staff for years and have never known more kind, friendly, patient and professional people. On the other hand I have often witnessed them suffer a variety of incredibly rude and entitled (racist?) local clientele.
