420 Uxbridge Road Post Office

The place is a mess, lack of stock and overcharging prices, £3,99 for a large envelope where in poundland it's 3 for £1. It's 9:15 and the office is still closed when apparently it's opening from 9:00. They need to improve their service.
Correction: Now it's 9:30 and still not opened. Great!

Sadly, I've had the same experience as several others have reported here: you ask for a basic service and they then sell you a much more expensive service instead, unless you know the right price and stop them by arguing about it.

Today I asked for "Signed For". The guy said "That's next day tracked ... £6:50". I said, hang on, I don't need next day, there's no rush, I just need Signed For. He said "You need to track it" and I said no I don't. He said "Look, it's going to a company, you need it tracked". I said, "No, I don't. The service I want doesn't cost £6:50. I just want the Signed For service".

It cost one third of what he tried to charge.

Absolutely awful service, told me I can't send my letter 2nd class because they don't do that and ended up having to pay for 1st class instead.
Horrible people ! Avoid at all costs!

I went yesterday at nearly closure time and was served by a very kind gentleman ( as always) he help me close the letter quickly so we can get it collected in time. So grateful to you guys. There was also a lady colleague of his , who is helpful too. Best post office in w12… hope tte service stay good or even gets better… thank you guys

I’m so lucky to have this post office as my local, the staff are all so helpful with whatever you need, they have really helped me out when I don’t know how to do something and saved the day on various occasions! Couldn’t recommend more. Thank you!

Although always busy, the staff are always pleasant and kind to deal with. Very happy to have this as my local post office!

Bloody scammers
Needed to renew passports, put them all into one envelope to save on unnecessary costs. They charged the most expensive rate for recorded delivery at £10

Couple days later I went to the post office on askew Rd for similar service and was charged less than £3 for recorded delivery 😑

Avoid Avoid Avoid , The Asian lady couldn’t follow a simple task, after i asked her 4 times, silly me didn’t check till i went home and then realised she had made a mistake, went back and she refused to alter it ,she even had the cheek to blame me after i told her 4 times
