Swanley Post Office

Friendly, efficient and well stocked. Their stationary & packaging section has saved me on many occasions and the staff are always helpful and welcoming.

Very unfriendly and unhelpful. Don't work in customer service jobs if you can't be bothered to talk to people, or even saying a simple helllo. Especially the Indian lady with the glasses.

Other colleagues are so lazy and moody everytime I take a parcel.

Highly don't recommend, changing post offices due to the above. 🙄

I didnt get her name as she wouldn't even say hi' so I don't think I would have quite got her name. She was the middle aged Indian lady working yesterdays early afternoon shift with glasses.

It was a very simple query just the way she responded was awful then walking out I realised the library did provide a printing service and she couldn't even be bothered to tell me that after having wasted 30mins of my lunch break to find that all she said is its not a QR code. That's all. For returning a parcel which seems like a lot of effort for them. I work in customer service and this would have really affected my work ethic if I was to act like that. Being polite and helpful goes a long way.

I left very angry and upset over something so simple.

This is conveniently located next to Asda and KFC, there is a library, cafe and a post office.
The staff are told (I think) not to smile at customers

Shocking customer service. Today, 6 June, I waited for almost an hour to simply post a parcel. The queue was 20-30 customers long when I joined it and even longer when I was eventually served. I swear, it’s the last time I use the Post Office whilst there are other couriers.

Visiting Swanley library post office is always a pleasure. The ladies working there, especially Tara and Jigna, are always very friendly and they are always on hand to help with any queries. I normally go during my lunch break and service is very fast and efficient and it is a pleasure going to this branch. Would definitely recommend!

Use it regularly, service is extremely slow and beware of constant upsales on your parcels by certain members of staff. 👎

Much preferred the old library design fro. 2005, was a lot more cosy and nicer compare to this current sterile bland deisgn, and where on earth are the books. Preciously it was stacked with books of all genres.

However whenever I need to print something or photocopy a document, the desk staff have always been friendly and efficient. Though you may have to pay in cash because their card reader does not work, on both occasions.

The post office is always busy but it's not their fault, its clearly understaffed and the opening hours are quite stingy, this council has duty to its constiuence to have a fully operational library and post office 7 days a week and open for a decent amount of time. No need to take it out on the staff.

Went here after visiting 4 other post offices to renew my licence.
this was the only one that could provide that service even know royal mails website said all the other can do the same service very pleased lovely staff.
