Whitmore Park Road Post Office

I always find the service terrible at the Post Office, for the reason that they always try and sell you their most expensive products, especially when not needed! Sending a parcel? They say recorded is pointless, send it Special. Ask for a parcel receipt, you'll get one begrudgingly, ask for some help and they're not bothered unless there's money to be made... All items in the Post Office are also poor quality and over-priced. Unfortunately not good by any means.

Awful staff, only 1 at the post office and he is ALWAYS trying to sell the expensive service! Once same parcel he quoted me more than a different post office! They never smile it's not hard. They never smile at anyone who isn't white or Hindu Indian!! Fact. The women at the till are useless the middle aged Indian lady with glasses today was rude and not helpful. A big q was waiting for post office and she could've easily taken some on the till but she carried on standing their idly chatting away.

Terrible service, plus they only have one person at the post office, with two members of staff standing behind the other counter, stapling away.

Their social distancing measures are ridiculous too, 6 ft became 12, the idea is to keep the flow running smoothly instead of putting pressure on one member of staff, and making people wait.

As a customer you are only ever seen as an inconvenience. Something to be dealt with as quickly as possible with as little effort as needed. My advise, take a slightly longer journey and go to town or jubilee crescent to be treated like a human being and feel valued after being served.

16:30 on friday and they where already closed. Next day they did not want to accept large letter saying it is to big, it Was soft bubble envelope but postage bought through internet so he make that envelope as flat and wide as possible so it touched side of frame and rejected it. Very unfriendly staff always trying to sell more expensive service. I Went to Jubilee crescent, accepted without problems

I sent out a package with them 11 days ago and it still hasn’t been attempted to deliver

Really poor unhelpful service by the male clerk today , I’ve never sent anything to Europe before , refused to help with suppling some tape to stick the paperwork to the box or offer a clear wallet so the documents could be seen , said I had to buy them and he had none in stock , when I asked for help he just looked at me in silence , there was no one else , no queue either .

I drove to jubilee crescent post office who was really helpful, advised me and even stuck the documents down. Would highly recommend jubilee crescent!!
