Royal Mail Egham

Always found the staff to be helpful and efficient. Even when there have been queues out the door, its not taken long to be served. The staff really know their stuff, so when you have questions they are really knowledgeable. I've also started buying postage labels online and printing them at this branch. So much easier that having to travel into town. Hopefully this starts to become the norm. Only detractor would be the number of parking spaces, but generally there is parking off the site in the street.

Always found the staff to be pleasant and helpful, for me it is convenient right at the entrance to an light industrial area and close to Thorpe CofE school great for dropping off or collecting parcels on the early school run.

Gillian who works at the front desk is so lovely. I literally go in with all my parcels and she processed them so quickly and sometimes they’re picked up straight away because she’s keen to get this through quickly.

I’m new to the area and was used to avoiding the Royal Mail service previously as they were quite rude when I’m from originally but this has changed the perception for Royal Mail for me. Lovely lady, lovely staff and always friendly.

I had missed some parcels so took my red card to the sorting office.
A journey from work of over a 14 mile round trip.
After checking opening times, I get there to find it closed.
2pm it said online, and on the door, I got there at 1.30pm.
So I called the help line, and thats a joke too.
After filing an official complaint, I asked for my stuff to be re-delivered on Friday.
I have used a days holiday from work to make sure I'm in.
So far, at nearly 12.30pm no show!
As the office shuts at 2, and re-opens at 4, I doubt it will turn up now.
I used to be a postman, and I know the stresses etc, but a complete failure is unacceptable.

At Wednesday I got a red card as i wasn’t at home. So next day I went to pick up my parcel and the office was closed. So I went again at Friday and was closed again?! I was really angry so I just booked redelivery for Monday ( today) and I didn’t get my parcel. So after that all I went again to the office and what? Surprise!! Closed again!!! So how I have to get my parcel if the office is closed every time and whenever I’m booking redelivery my parcel is not coming ??!!!

Can't really say more than everyone else and seeing as there are years worth of bad reviews and nothing is being done about it, they don't really deserve even 1 star.

Got there at 1:15pm everywhere says it is open until 3pm on a Saturday, however to my dismay it was closed. Asked around with people going in out of the sorting facility and just got the response that it wasn't their problem it was closed early.

You can only get there by car... and then even if you drive, the customer parking is full to the brim, even the handicapped spots.

Then you go inside and there are 2 customers... Their own parking (which is not available to the public) is empty bar 2-3 cars.

Utterly ridiculous.

Travelled specially to collect a parcel on Saturday 5th February 2022 arriving at 2.15pm. Delivery office closed. Published times say it closes at 3pm on a Saturday. No notice of explanation on the door. Perhaps the staff just felt like knocking off early that day? Very poor and unacceptable service from Royal Mail.
