Possibly the worst service I have experienced. Staff are rude and dismissive: claimed tills are closed and cashed out at 5:30 on a Friday, when the closing times are stated online as 6pm. I just wanted to pick up a parcel: was told to go to 7 The Boulevard, which I had just came from, instructed by a member of staff to go to County Mall PO instead. Terrible communication: all information is seemingly outdated and staff are rude and not interested in helping. The wait times are also astonishing: what's the point in having several tills if you're only going to staff one of them? At peak hours mind you. This is a public service, do better.

Queued for 35 minutes to post 2 parcels. One person behind the post office counter who was allowing people to fill out paperwork at the counter rather than having them do it on the desk opposite and requeue.

When I walked in there, there were 7-8 customers ahead of me. When I was served and left 12 customers behind me.

When I've been it's not been busy and service has been good.

Accessibility:
There's a decent amount of space in and around the queue area (although I can see it getting awkward at busy times). The counters are open underneath so it's easy to pull up in a wheelchair. At the moment the self service tills have barriers between them so are somewhat tight for a wheelchair.

The post office is at the back of WH Smiths. There's smooth wooden floor in the post office area but in the WH Smiths section it's a very wonky carpet which is rather annoying to get through in a wheelchair.

There is a lift inside WH Smiths to get between the two levels. It's a little bit small but usable and usually less busy than the lifts in the middle of county mall.

Went to renew driving licence but was told tablet is not working take a form. I think she just didn't feel like doing her job. There was a queue building and the travel money cashier had a quick snack and chat with the cashier and left one behind that also walked away for a bit. Will hopefully not need to use the. Again on the future.

Wasn't to busy in the morning. The self service is generally always available and staff are friendly and willing to help if you need help. Never had any issues here

Appalling. The original Post Office in the Boulevard was an old school one with a row of staff. This has been replaced by a pokey little counter in WHSmith with only one cashier, queue all through the shop. On the plus side, it makes WHSmith look busier.

I am giving the post office queue inside WHSmith store a 1 star 🌟 especially after l went in there yesterday afternoon l thought it wouldn't be busy especially when it was after Christmas 🎄 but how wrong l was, terrible apalling wait😠 l get served quicker in the Iceland store in Crawley 🤣 even when there a big queue of people l waited ages in the post office queue as l was waiting more people were joining the queue then my anxiety started there was only 2 member of staff there l much prefer the old post office least there were more staff behind the counters .

The staff are rude , sullen and unhelpful - everything is treated as a massive effort for them and they seem to actively resent their customers! Would rather travel further afield to avoid this place even at cost to myself
