Northgate Street Post Office

Up until recently I went to the main post office in town, which is always very busy (you have to get a ticket and wait for 10 minutes to speak to someone, who is typically grumpy about being overworked and then tries to sell you insurance or a new credit card). But the Northgate Street Post Office is vastly better, as it is smaller you have a chance to speak a little with the staff, I have never had to wait to be served, they are more concerned with helping you than selling you things you don't need. My only worry about leaving this review is everyone switching to this Post Office thus making it too busy..

Wrong opening time

Very popular city centre store offering usual range of goods and services and so can get busy at peak times. Not ideal for disabled or pram access but Staff are generally friendly and helpful. ATM and postbox available.

The gentlman working at counter 6 have no idea what document's required for your licence disk. I have send my driver with my original ID, copy of my ID, Authorized letter signed for collection, licence disk forms completed and I still do not have my licence disk this is NOT acceptable. The clientele service is SHOCKING.

Staff are very very kindly. Cannot say enough!!! It is a very very excellent service.

The bloke who owns this franchise is really nice, just a genuinely helpful person who doesn't overcharge or sell you things you don't need. 😊❤️

Great post office, the gentleman on main till jumped on post office till, helped me send 2 x iPhone battery’s back, he preserved and scanned them both in, Top guy 👍
