I went to send a parcel. Was served (and I use the word served very loosely! ) by an unsmiling young woman of Indian appearance. I said hello and asked to send the parcel. She scanned the barcode without saying a word then pointed to the weighing scales. She then, put her hand out and snatched the parcel from my grasp and gave me my receipt without so much as a please or thankyou. This is not the first time she has treated me this way and she treated the little old lady before me the same way. Such a rude, ignorant piece of work who thinks she's a cut above everyone else!

Very rude young girl works at this postoffice. Staff is not properly trained to deal with DVLA applications. Long queues for no good reason.

I've renewed three passports recently and been served by three different members of staff. All have been very friendly and knowledgeable.

UPDATED REVIEW So today I would renew my drivers license as per the 10 years expiry, I thought I may aswell do my passport too seems has long expired,

I qued in line I found it quite tight as people were crossing both sides of the segregation barriers put there for Covid,

I made the next in service showed the lady at till number 2 that I was applying for digital applications, the lady said that's fine go to till number 5 so I proceeded,

I then found myself in-between a lady at till 4 and a man and his partner already at till number 5, the man serving looked up I just raised my passport and driving license application, he said "I am serving someone already" I said yes I can see that's fine,

He told me to step backwards which I did now I'm between two people and a display box I can't move anywhere.

The man I now know to be the manager BALAL and lady standing aside him then begin to stare at me I'm now uncomfortable, he then said I am not going to serve you...

This then lacking in a social or managing skulls and showing an utter disregard to customer service leaving his post in front of his under colleagues, shocking I thought. The owner of the shop see what had happend and said come back Monday morning when he isn't here,

This makes me think now Mr Balal and his over jewellery wearing collegue he is training to be just as rude as he is, he mentioned minimum wage,, and that's my problem get another job.

One member of public said maybe he didn't like my passport.

No hard feelings Mr Balal but you acted in a manner that was totally unprofessional infront of your colleagues that you are responsible for,

So I was passing by two weeks after this and popped in said good afternoon to the Tamil lady (yes the over wearing jewelery lady) Mr Balal popped up again and said I am not serving you, I found this man just ridiculous and always looking to be argumentative,

Mr Balal refused to serve me because of this google review,, I say improve your service skills and I'm sure you will raise better reviews.

Anyways I went to Tesco Pitsea Post office, and experienced two nice ladies we had a laugh together she served me and my needs well, they will get a top star review.

Mr Balal what's your excuse?

I ask Mr Balal why as a manager you lack such key elements of customer service?

Have you embarked upon any managerial training?

If you have personal problems you should not bring them into the place of your works.

In all my years of service to my company I have never received a complaint,, but have received many emails of appraisal to my high management and better business.

Mr Balal remember In my experience customer is king, they bring in the business without them you have no business.
