Very discourteous treatment this evening.
While I was waiting at the desk as her colleague retrieved my package from the back, the lady working there asked me "can you move to the side, I can see they wish to send something back" referring to the customers waiting behind me in the queue, without even a "please". The request itself is fine but not the impolite way it was asked, as if I was less important than the other customers for some reason. I was too tired at the end of a long day to say anything, but regret not doing so. Very rude and disrespectful.

Guy at the desk was nice and explained the rules about picking up packages on my husband’s behalf, manager was extremely rude and screamed at me to get out of the queue if wasn’t able to take home any packages. I was trying to see if there was any way that my trip wasn’t a waste, there was no need to yell at me in front of everyone /speak to me the way he did. I feel bad for the employees there if that’s the guy that runs that office

Staff have always been friendly and efficient in the office, but my GOD, the delivery drivers are beyond useless.

We CONSISTENTLY get “sorry we missed you” letters through our door, with absolutely zero attempt at them delivering the parcel. No knocking, no doorbell ringing and no waiting.

We’ve even caught the Royal Mail guy running up to our door, posting the “sorry we missed you” letter with no sign of the parcel (probably left in the van). Not really sure how or why they’d do this?

Someone needs to speak to management and put them on performance watch until they can actually do their job as DELIVERY drivers properly.

Wasted my time walking the 30 minute round trip in the rain to the sorting office to pick up outstanding post as we've been waiting several weeks for expected letters to arrive. This has sadly been par for the course over the last two years (... our Xmas cards arrived in Feb!)

I was told by the staff member that she couldn't go upstairs to check as they close in 10 minutes... Eh? She said I should have come sooner! Sorry, my fault then. Perhaps the business hours should be updated to reflect this? Or should I book an afternoon off work next time?

Very frustrating - shoddy service all round.

Royal Mail often fails to impress. Why bother offer a 48 hours tracked service... which just lets me watch the package sit at the Wimbledon DO for a couple days before finally being sent off. Book a redelivery and they don't necessarily stick to the date. A tracked service that only lets you know when it's being delivered is pretty useless when I can see my own post arrive. Nothing Royal about their smug service.

Went to collect a parcel last Monday, 15 people in the queue, one guy kind of serving (kept going to watch the football), and two others in the back watching the football and laughing about the length of the queue out front. I waited 25min to get my parcel, and not even a “sorry for the wait”.

Office staff seem to know what they are doing and talking about. But I'm not sure what is happening with the delivery drivers. I paid extra for fast (48 hour) tracked delivery. I was notified on the website that the package arrived and was out for delivery. That was 3 days ago, still no package, no update and no "sorry we missed you card". I phoned, and an automatic complaint was launched, which hopefully changes something. However, I wanted to drive to the post office as well and double check where my package was, it wasn't there of course and it was on route to be re-delivered. Of course, I didn't know any of this information. To save people time and money, no one should pay extra for services that DO NOT exist. Do not waste your money (or time), at most just get tracked delivery. At least then you can go complain if the package never arrives.
