I was really surprised to see any 1 star reviews. This post office always delivers impeccable service, and all of my transactions are completed to my complete satisfaction.

The team are both friendly and efficient. I found the two assistants very helpful and very cheery.

For those persons giving this branch 1 star; it might well be more to do with their attitude or maybe their sense of entitlement then it was to do with the team’s responses. If you treat everyone in service industries with respect, I find they respect you back and treat you well. If, for whatever reason, you start by making abrupt demands - a long queue, you’re in a hurry but planned your day badly, you don’t like that the team are being helpful and friendly to the customer they are already assisting, then maybe expect to be treated like a task rather than a person.

The branch is small, and the team of two obviously have to cover the lunches and comfort breaks for each other. In addition, I’m sure that there are other administration tasks that must be completed that means that they both can’t be at the counter all of the time.

I like it here, and if the 1 star folk don’t go, then that suits me!

I'm surprised to see so many reviews claiming the staff are rude here - that's never been my experience; the 2 regular ladies behind the counter have been nothing but friendly, polite and helpful to me and I must be in between 2 and 4 times a week as a minimum. This is a very very small post office however - and it is often busy - it's not fair to say though that it's the only one in the area as there is a main branch post office on Blackfriars Road less than a 15 minute walk away. Do be prepared to bring cash for stationary - that's my only big gripe.

The slowest and most painful experience your life awaits you when you step into this post office. No self serve machines meaning you are stuck in the dark ages and forced to queue with everyone else. Ten or more people in the queue at any time but only one person assisting customers. I would avoid this branch going forward unless I was absolutely and deathly desperate

The lady at the desk was absolutely amazing! I came over from Italy to renew my passport and she made the whole process so simple. Thank you

I really love this post office, I am always choosing it whenever I need to send something, even though it is a little bit further away than my closest P.O. The staff is very lovely and always helpful. I have been there over 10 times and I never had a single bad experience. 5 stars, 100% deserved

Great, very small post office inside the Co-op. Good service, always friendly ladies behind the counter. Very small, usually just one person, so if you’re in a rush or are impatient, go to a bigger branch with more people or self service machines.
Perfect for returns, stamps and everyday needs.

The lady today gave me wrong advice saying she couldn't do my passport digital service because I was changing my surname. This wasted my time only to find out this was perfectly doable at the post office. This lady is always selling her protein powders to customers via her private online business and is quite pushy. Official complaint has been made
