Knowle Post Office

I went into this post office a couple of years ago to use the Photo me box. I had a really disappointing experience as my photos came out pixelated. I have never experienced this at any other photo me box ever and ask the shop manger if I could get my money back as my face was so distorted the passport office would not accept them.

The shop owner told me basically it wasn’t his problem and was really rude and wouldn’t give me my money back. I had not wanted to go back to this post office again since but due to covid and the main post office being shut, it was the most convenient option and I didn’t have much time to send the parcel off.

The second experience was even worse. The shop owners sons were nice and helpful and I was actually quite impressed than my experience before but then their father, the shop manager aggressively yelled at me as I forgot to put a packing box back in its place. I genuinely forgot and I wasn’t trying to be rude.

I apologised but he was just pretty horrible to be honest and aggressive, I explained to his son that I felt he was being rude and he completely denied it. Not what I was expecting at all.

I have worked in customer services before and was shocked by how aggressive he was.

What’s a mistake going back. I have never had an experience like this in a post office before or any shop for that matter.

I would not recommend this post office and I would not use their photo machine. I would rather walk much further than go back here.

Warning, do not use this post office service, they will damage parcels and not send post. Very bitter people run and operate this place and I recommend avoiding like the plague.

Always really friendly and helpful! Give good advice on overseas postage. A great community asset!

Went in with only a £10 note to buy a drink, spent 60p on a bottle of water, put the change in my pocket, then saw a packet of sweets that my son would like, took what i thought was £1 from the change to pay, turns out it was some kind of token or something, i was told i couldnt use it, i explained that they had just given me that, they argued and tried to stop me taking the sweets, saying they always check, well blatently not because you gave that to me!
I grabbed the sweets and left the coin/token, as i was walking out i was being shouted at that i looked like i was up to something and that i came in with a plan to commit fraud and not to ever come into their post office again, i kept trying to explain to another person that worked there that this is the change i was given and thats all the money i had on me, to be fair he said just leave it, but by then i was angry at being accused and left the shop shouting and swearing!
Well, I'm glad they don't want me in there again, as no way would i step foot inside a shop that accuses me of fraud or anything else! I am sorry that i started shouting and swearing but it made me so angry, i mean seriously accusing someone of fraud for £1...... Get a Grip!!
