A total mess, slow service, only 1 out of 5 tills open! Hire people! Another disturbing aspect is that this place is very dirty - dust everywhere you can set eyes on, open drinking containers left randomly. This place is in need of a new management.

I went there for my license renewal. Only one staff. He said he can't do it because shortage of staff. Funny if they can't afford staff then why run post office. Worst people. Worse than third world country. Definitely this is not London.

Absolutely shocking post office, the staff are young kids around 18year olds doing nothing but just talking and laughing whilst not helping customers. Completely unprofessional from the staff.

This is not even the worst part, there are around 4 tills but only one is open! What kind of service is this!! The queue is always long with a minimum of 6 people and waiting time is minimum 40minutes. Management have no idea how to run a
business for being such a big post office.

The person at the till spends 10-15 minutes on each person and is slow as a snail! If anyone is thinking about coming here, DO NOT waste your time and money in this incompetent post office.

Used to come here around 2-3years ago and it was nothing like this, there was always people at the tills and the queue would usually move fast. I have no idea what has happened to the management, he must have made all of his staff redundant and has not hired new staff.

Very unsatisfied customer and I will never be coming back and will spread the word about this horrible post office. Would have given 0 stars if it was possible

YOU ARE BETTER OFF USING 256 HIGH STREET NORTH POST OFFICE!!! Its just an extra 5 min walk but you will save 40 mins on the queue. Really poor service here for a main post office. There are 5 counters, but only one member at the counter!? the owner knows this but persists with it i assume to make more money at the expense of the people they serve. Waited 20 mins in the queue to be LIED to that the horizon system does not deal with special delivery anymore and that i had to use the self service, which was another 20 minute queue. I knew this was false as i have previously owned a post office. Lazy and dishonest!! The self service staff is so poor too. They "dont know" the difference between medium parcel and small parcel. If you ask their help they will try and make you pay for medium. The guy before me was arguing for a good 2 minutes before he mentioned the dimentions of his parcel as small parcel as per the Royal Mail website. The lady there finally let him post as small parcel. Those who are not so knowledgable are being scammed out of their money. They don't know what franked mail is either which is a joke. Judging by previous reviews, this poor service has been happening for a while. Royal Mail please intervene.

What a amazing post office blond lady and Asian woman were probably the most well mannered and helpful individuals I only came to send a parcel and made me feel value as they were quick and efficient and listened to me. East Ham post office is one of the best ones I’ve visited.

Probably the worst post office I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. You're guaranteed to be in a queue for over an hour.
Despite having Three whole self service machine they are inexplicably closed. You'd think to compensate for the lack of self service machines with fast service and lots of open tils, but no, they've often got only one person serving at a time, two if you're lucky.
You might actually be better off walking to the next town over and using their post office instead, as I'm sure nothing could be as appalling as this.
