Excellent post office, so many counters so in theory you shouldn't be waiting for too long. They have a general store attached to the post office . So they pretty much have everything you may need

I have been a customer for about a year, and I cannot disagree more with the bad reviews on here!
I find the post office counter staff efficient and pleasant to deal with, and the store counter staff incredibly welcoming.
I love the friendly nods of recognition as a repeat customer.
I will happily recommend this post office to anyone who asks.

I went there a few times and most of the time the experience was fine. But there is one time when the staff there was rude and not helpful when I went there picking up my parcel. The parcel came with my alias on it and I don’t have any legal documents proving the alias which I understand it’s their policy. He asked me my address and I gave it to him correctly. I gave him my BRP and documentation with address on it. Then he said no he can’t give the parcel to me. I politely asked how I could get the parcel and he didn’t advise more. I provided several ways (order detail, tracking SMS message, even my company’s info with the same alias) but he was just saying “so? It doesn’t prove anything” without trying to help at all. Finally I showed him an email of me asking the selling company the status about my parcel and he said that was ok. I don’t quite understand the rules. Why emails would work but order detail won’t. But I’m not complaining about him checking for my identity. I’m sad about the way he treated customers - not friendly, just saying no and not trying to be helpful at all. He even ask me why I’m using alias for purchasing like I’m not allowed to.

It’s a post office not the worst, not the best, but like all post offices stuck in the 9-5 cycle where people who work can’t access their services. Like GPs and banks need to really operate for the general public not the shift workers and unemployed.

Nice sweet shop though :)

They hold my husband's BRP for 1 month. They misplace BRP within their branch and they continuously said that they don't received.after 6th time going for collection, they try to fool us that they receive today.

Always a big que despite having many counters, but the most worrying thing is the staff try to up-sell you the their ParcelForce services rather than Royal Mail...which are more expensive. Twice I went in to send a parcel second class and twice had to argue with the staff so that they would send it for the price I knew it should be.

Need to go basis only.

The post office is clean and tidy but the post office lady was unfriendly and not likeable at all for someone who should be assisting with queries.

Should improve the service part.

Absolutely disgusting service and the man with the pony tail gave my parcel to someone else and I had to run out the store and get it back off them. When I told him he needs to do better he started to swear at me.
