Fleckney Post Office

What happened ?? where are all the old staff ??. This shop has gone downhill in the past few month's. Very few paper's left mid morning as with most item's we used to buy they have sold out or "waiting for delivery". We now drive on to kibworth where all the item's we wish to purchase are available and served with a friendly smile which is now sadly lacking at fleckney.

From the smell of cooking and the lack of stock this shop is a joke. I have lived in fleckney 70+ years and never known it so bad. We were playing a daily game of will they or won't they have the item's i want which is normally a paper and some tobacco which for a newsagents is standard stock but not in this shop the stock is minimal so i like mr khan go to kibworth and the amount of fleckney people i see in the mercury new's speaks for it's self

Pi** poor. Unfortunately the new owners are a bit lapse when it comes to finding your parcel....

The dwp now send sms codes for pensions to mobile phones with instructions for the post office and pay point staff how to use it. I went in with 2 of these codes and the grumpy miserable man behind the counter would not cash then all he said was no bar code no cash i explained how it worked but no he just kept on saying no bar code and waving my phone about he was ignorant to the end. I drove to another post office explained it to them and no problem cash paid.

I live & work in the village & do use the post office for various things regularly, mainly postal (obviously…it’s a post office!). Have only ever had one problem & that was a parcel being too big to drop off. Staff always polite to me (I am also polite to them, you get back what you give out!). My general take on people who do moan about the staff, would moan about anything! At least we have a post office still, so if people don’t like the place, don’t use it & then moan when it’s closed down! Anyway, good little shop & very handy in the village!

So rude and unhelpful and would not help with a top up of Eon electric AND if the woman came off her phone whilst she is meant to be serving would help.
Very disappointing.

This place is an absolute joke, rude staff apart from the young guy. Don't even try and call as you will never get an answer or it gets out down. One of the worst places for customer service and I'm sorry but it stinks. I only ever use this place if a parcel has been sent back otherwise I'd happily travel to another post office.
