Great Glen Post Office

The most fantastic post office and shop! The gifts are unique and I can always find something if I’m stuck for a birthday present. There’s a huge choice of cards too!
The deli food is amazing and the staff are so lovely and helpful! I miss living so close by, where I live now the shops have nothing on Great Glen Post Office.

Lovely village post office that also sells coffee and breakfast rolls before anyone else in the area is open. Really tasty looking selection of food from their deli and even seating outside!

I have always had a very pleasant experience using the local village post office and the helpfulness of the staff who have been there for some time remains the same. However I have to say that since the new owners have taken over the experience is very different.

New owner is rude and justifies this by pointing that “ I am the owner”.

What has happened to this place?.

The shop is undergoing a refit and by the amount of produce raking that’s going up it looks like they are going into direct competition with the local COOP.

Let’s hope the Rude owner doesn’t take all the charm away from this long established business.

My last ever visit, what a shame.

If I were being generous, I’d describe the Post Office as perfunctory and bordering on rude.

Used to be a friendly local post office with character. It's basically turning into a generic corner shop and the new owner needs to up his game in terms of customer service.

This has changed since new ownership. It is now a Spar. Parking can be non existent during peak hours.

Where to start with this review... everything is super, the staff especially ❤️ 🤗, they take time to chat with you and it feels like you're part of a family. Service is warm, friendly and very efficient. Is also a mini market plus does great coffee and snacks with few small tables outside. Has its own parking too. Look out and look up for the postman on the bike outside the entrance, a great icon! Would give this 7 stars if they were available!
