Trafalgar Road Post Office

I saw the other reviews and thought I really must write my own. I used this Post Office last week and have a good experience. All the staff appeared to be genuinely lovely people - Helpful and knowledgeable. They let me borrow their pen too :). Please don't believe the other reviews here. The staff here deserve much more credit.

Yes they’ve also overcharged me and lost packages somehow when sent from here. The young woman is the worst. They’ve also given me the wrong change twice from £10 note once and a £20 note another day then denied it and took a huge argument to try and get the correct change. They always say the most expensive way to send it without giving any other options and it takes a lot of questions to find out the other ways of sending just like the guy says below. Same as another reviewer below I always try to go elsewhere if I can.

Have just discovered that after years of sending various letters and parcels I’ve been getting overcharged by being missold more expensive postage options to what I need. Today I pushed and took about 4 questions to find out there was a cheaper option for getting proof of postage. Will complain to Royal Mail. Also, very slow service.

The post office is very easy to find.

It is not big yet with a variety of life essentials and postal services. It is on a busy neighbourhood but the working speed is quite efficient. L

There is also a large 24hour postbox right outside of the post office.

I definitely recommend the Trafalgar Road post office! 👍☺️

This place can get a bit crowded as it doubles up as a convenience store, but the staff are efficient and helpful.

If coming with large packages you may want to consider the Greenwich post office near Greenwich station as there is more space

Staffs are very friendly and welcoming , great service.

In short, Unprofessional staff. They try to sell expensive postage without giving customers any options. Today in front me me a customer asked for normal stamp, I could clearly understand what he was asking for but one of the staff tried to sell him special delivery stamp and then kept saying the customer showed her a photo of the expensive stamp and then wanted the cheap one. Right in front of the customers they are talking amongst themselves. So rude. They sold me unnecessarily expensive postage too. The communication is so poor you just want to run out of that shop. I hope someone sees these reviews and provide some sort of training to the staff in this branch.

Today 28.12.2021. the post office is closed. Even though Google maps and Royal Mail website says it's open until 17:30.

Do not come today. Both post office and the shop closed. Save your time. I made a mistake.
