Rectory Road Post Office

Post Office open same time as shop. Friendly staff.

Refused to let me post some parcels because he is the only person running the shop and post office. There were zero customers in the store. This isn't the first time he has refused or complained about people using the post office counter. If he doesn't want to provide post office counter services, close it.

I've been loyal to this post office and shop for 10 years but the service over the last few weeks means I'll be going elsewhere.
One of the reasons this place was great was the post office was open when the shop was. This is no more. If you are the only person in the shop they won't "open" the post office even though it's on the same counter as the shop.
Today, filling the shelves was more important than serving staff. When I pointed out that there were 2 people waiting I was spoken to in a very rude manner which resulted in me walking out.
It seems that this store no longer wants to serve it's community.

Arrogant staff to lazy to get up and speak to customers trying to use priority post box for covid tests, turns out post box is actually located just down the road on corner of priory street. Staff member just sat in corner shouting post office is close when I went in with covid test box in my hand, did not even look or question what I wanted. Is not first time I have had to deal with same arrogant staff member, never helpful. Would not recommend.

Always been helpful and friendly. Never a big queue so nice and convenient

Very rude, doesn't know post office policy and wants to retain personal details. Avoid this postmaster, possible crook or fraudster.
