Service with a sneer. Told in barely comprehensible broken English by someone in the shop that the post office was shut from 12-2pm when I turned up at just past one. Absolutely hopeless and as others have said it's a shame you can't give this place zero stars. Unfortunately this is my local post office so their contempt for customers is something I have to put up with unless I want to drive to a post office. I'm hoping another opens soon so I don't have to use this abomination of customer service. Avoid at all costs.

Beware! This place is refusing to scan pre paid postage despite printed label says "Post office please scan the barcode.

If you pracel is not scanned it may get "lost". I'm wondering what's thire rate of so called lost parcel!?

Also man behind the counter is obnoxious and rude.

Best to stay away from this place.

Found the man behind the post office counter surly, unfriendly and quite rude.
Thankfully don't have to use the shop often, and would go out of my way to avoid using this post office

Man behind the counter is obnoxious and rude. I think he might even bite if provoked. Awarding the excessive praise of one star because no zero star option is offered. Avoid if you can.

Post office guy is the worst, how Royal Mail haven’t pulled the plug on him is beyond me? I think more people need to make complaints for the Post Office and Royal Mail to act.

Refused to scan a prepaid label because he won’t work for free… yet Royal Mail won’t accept a claim without a proof of postage.

Don’t take on a franchise/ contract and pick and choose what you want to do.
It’s like a mcdonalds franchise refusing to serve fries because there is less profit than burgers… tough shiiikit mate, you have to serve the menu!

He is rude and didn’t know simple things about proof of postage and claims…
Went to another post office and they said that everyone complains about him…. Who is the common denominator here?

The place is a tip, stuff strewn everywhere, so so messy and not going lie, smelt a bit funky too!

He also takes about 20 minutes to roll from his stinky pit and actually come downstairs to serve….

Thank god they have the school kids custom (who they treat really badly) otherwise there is no way in the world this would be a plausible business.

Not for me huns 😷

I usually don’t leave reviews, but today nahhhh!!!! I came in around 9:40am to pick up my parcel to notice that the person working at the post office was gone to the GP. Fair enough,
I found it weird that there was no one to take over the post office.. basically closing it due to out of hours appointments. I stayed cool and went back around 12:10pm. Another sign saying lunch break from 12pm till 2pm. That was the straw for me. Been sticking around for this long, what a joke!!

I wish I had read the reviews before going to this post office branch but then you shouldn't have to just to send a parcel. The bloke behind the post office counter totally ignored me when I went in and I had to call for someone to serve me several times before he could be bothered to get behind the counter huffing and puffing as he did it .The shop at this time was totally empty so he could clearly hear me and he watched me approach the counter when I went in. He was rude and point blank refused to give a receipt for prepaid parcels. He said he didn't get paid for doing these parcels so wouldn't give one and now Royal Mail have confirmed they won't accept a claim if they go missing. If Royal mail want to encourage people to do online postage then people like this will put customers off doing. Looking through the reviews the same problems come up time and time again and the Post Office should be looking into it. If I could leave no stars I would he now has a star for being rude and giving bad customer service.
