North Mymms Post Office

Incompetent staff, unable to complete a simple transaction and often refuse to give proof of postage. Stop serving customers mid transaction to serve other customers buying food from the shop section. USELESS.

Have been going here for several weeks to buy wine on the way home from work parking my fold up bicycle inside the shop to avoid it being stolen. Tonight an officious, angry man immediately told me no bicycles allowed. Are they dirtier than shoes that have worked on sites or walked through canine excrement? I didn't ask the question as the disgusting attitude of this angry person immediately told me the customer is not a person to be respected and thanked for loyalty in a small village with 3 virtually identical shops selling the same range of products. I will never, ever go there again and will advise my friends accordingly.

Very, very bad experience from the self styled pretend post office. My fault that I have been going for many years- only because it is the most local. Do yourself a favour if you want to be served by staff that only care about the revenue and have no customer service skills then this is the place for you.

Asked them to check 2 winning scratch cards. After putting them through the machine told us the machine was broken. When we tried to claim them in another shop they said they had already been paid. Returned to post office where they retrieved payment slips from bin and paid our winnings.
If you buy lottery tickets there they insist you use chip and pin and receipts read ‘ cash withdrawal ‘. Will not visit again….something very dodgy there

Never have I had such a rude ignorant person serve me in a sub post office!
What a disgrace

Always shop in this shop. Friendly and welcoming and nothing is ever to much. The post offices prices are best around.

They were very patient with me as I tried to get a package ready to post, the other reviews made me expect the worst. However, it's not a proper post office and they don't have the royal mail/parcel force boxes. I spent £5 on a random box from them. Will make the longer walk to the Hatfield branch the next time.

They try to charge you to send something even if the item has been pre paid. If you get something delivered here they will send it back before the expiry time as they say they have no room. Do yourself a favour and go to the post office at Colney Heath.
