Cheadle Post Office

Excellent modern recently refitted. Great news selection and service

Has no understanding of the work next day delivery

The Cheadle news shop also doubles as the post office. The shop part is a newsagent and it does this very well, it sells newspapers and magazines. The post office can be slow going. At peak times you could easily be in the queue for at least quarter of an hour if not more.

Lovely staff

It's a nice little post-office with lovely staff. They all are helpful and will support a small talk. Sometimes the queue gets too long though but just one member of staff serves. It doesn't happen often but would be nice if such situations were regulated.

Nipped in here to get some cash out for the nextdoor charity shop as their card reader was broken.

Staff in here were friendly enough and didn't really have any issues. Did find out my card can't be used in post offices but that isn't their fault, and they directed me to an ATM by the morrisons a 5 minute walk away so was still able to do what i wanted to do. Would come here again for post-office related needs. X3
