Very unpleasant experience today. The staff is very rude, irritating and impatient. Firstly, I tried to be considerate to think maybe today is just not his day, but this guy turned very cheerful and friendly when he serviced a local guy next to me.

Awful experience today ! Spoken too so rudely because the sever made a mistake and didn’t sent recorded delivery as requested. Slamming parcel and huffing and puffing and muttering when I questioned him he told me if I’m not happy to not return … I definitely won’t be ! Awful

Convenient PO on the edge of Bury St Edmunds, with free parking. Not many easy alternatives if you live in villages on the south west of Bury. You'll get standard PO services, just brace yourself before you go in and don't expect friendly customer service!

The staff here are not at all polite. It's almost an art form/funny how grumpy they are. Went in today and pointedly tried to cheerfully say hello to the guy behind the till and he just ignored me. I then went to post something, so he barked an order at me, then seemed offended that I wanted to use the post office and somehow hadn't telepathically gleaned from him what I was supposed to do with the parcel. Then I had the audacity to say thank you at the end of the transaction, which, unusuprisingly, also met no reaction from him.

The staff in this shop are the most miserable people, whether using the Post Office part, or buying from their store! The service is appalling! If you can use elsewhere then do so, then perhaps they will learn to become more courteous!
