Chesterton Post Office

After the main post office in Victoria street closed a post office counter was opened in the Nisa store (Biraks) on the High street. The lady was very helpful in my request and on this occasion I didn’t have to wait for more than a couple of minutes to be served. This service is better than nothing but a bespoke post office is far superior.

The "post office" is just a counter in a general store. You might have to wait because the postman/woman is busy stacking shelves! Today (04/06/2019) they didn't have any first class stamps. Also now they charge for withdrawing cash from their ATM.

Charged for a unwanted bag. Looked at me funny when added on money for bag, that was not asked for which made the price more than i could afford.
Took a cake away for being "too heavy" . Felt uncomfortable and ostracized.

I think this post office is 100 percent better than than the one in Newcastle Under Lyme town centre and hanley

The young lady in the post office is an absolute pleasure, always cheerful and helpful , well done and thank you

Googles says post office open but after traveling their assistant said was closed

Go elsewhere always big queues. Bloke serving not very helpful will try to overcharge you for postage,BE WARNED! . I've posted things here that haven't arrived and I've paid money in they tried to give recipient for less than I paid
