Priorswood Post Office

The thing that makes this sub-post office stand out from the main post office in town is that they always seem to have enough staff on duty to quickly clear any queues which build up. In fact, I have sometimes seen more staff on duty here than at the County Stores office in Taunton town centre! Very friendly and helpful, and if you've made an error in packing a parcel or getting an address slightly wrong, they don't adopt an officious tone, but really do try to sort it out for you. There's a free car park outside the post office and adjacent shops, but it can get packed. Recommended.

Staff was friendly last time I visited, but closed 12:30 to 13:30. This lunch time closure was not on Google, so just a warning to anyone this may be of help to - like the 90% of people who work regular hours... Even while I stood there for 2 minutes in disbelief, someone else turned up with a parcel and turned away, saying she has to work and can't get away except at lunch time. The overall postal service sucks, not this particular post office, I guess.

Went here to collect the BRP card for my friend. The staff are friendly and helpful. Ample parking space available and its free for upto an hour.

Give 5* because the lovely post-office lady helped me with passports, she was really helpful so I'd highly recommend.

Had a laptop with a burnt out power supply. The well known high street place said it was unrepairable ( probably so they could sell me a new one ). This place got the new part and fixed it really quickly, saving me £100s. The chap really knows his stuff, I can't recommend them highly enough.
