The two ladies working in there one was eating her lunch with a mouthful of food told me to use the other counter. There was no please or thank you what so ever ! If you deal with the public you could at least be a bit more friendly ! If you don't like working with the said public I suggest you find another job ! It's not the first time the said ladies have been rude. There was an old lady behind me who was getting some cash out and the Grey haired lady was so rude to her I couldn't believe how she spoke to her, I will be making a complaint to the Post office direct to state my grievance with this poorly run counter service !

Great post office and great staff. Such a shame some reviews don't take into account we are in a pandemic and maybe the two previous reviews should show a little bit of respect of the pressure and anxiety that brings to the staff dealing with customers and continuously touching their money and post. A lot of customers obviously do not understand about only going in a post office for essential and urgent reasons during a lockdown as the Government have stated.

So I stand in the huge queue for ages clutching a large 7kg parcel only to be told when I eventually get to the counter 'we aren't taking any more parcels the collection has already been made'. Not only did this happen to me but many other people in the queue. Why oh why, rather than make us all stand there for ages, did they not just say to us all that they couldn't take any more parcels so we didn't have to wait?
The worst case of a complete and utter lack of any foresight or common sense by a shop assistant that I have ever seen.
No wonder customers get frustrated.

I experienced poor customer service skills here again today. A curt comment with no effort at nicety at all! If you have a job where you are serving the public (as I myself have in the past) then you need to make the effort to smile and be pleasant regardless of your personal problems etc. And I don’t accept that the pressure and anxiety of the present Covid situation is a good enough excuse/reason for the poor attitude that people are getting. If you go to the post office at Oake or Norton Fitzwarren, you don’t get it, and the staff in those places are under the same sort of pressures!

I used to love stopping here and it WAS the best little out of the way place to fit your postal needs etc. But since it was sold and its now a co op the parking has gotten terrible at times, and you can't tell when its going to be busy or not. For this reason im giving it a mixed rating. Also when it was an independent shop they had a better drinks selection, now its all commercial and the options are overpriced and terrible.

Some of the post office staff are the rudest people i have ever met and this is not a one off occasion. Went in the other day and the lady at the desk rolled her eyes at me and muttered in a sarcastic tone when i was confused.
