The MOST Unprofessional and extremely rude Post Office I have EVER encountered!!!! Which is really bad when you think all they have to do is accept and send mail...thats it! I have never encountered such an Unprofessional post office in my life. They are a disservice to the Royal Mail to say the least. When I go to another post office I am able to send my mail without any issues no matter what the package may be or how small or large. This is the last time I will be using this branch as I seem to leave there extremely stressed and worried that my mail will go missing every time! As a business owner this is an unnecessary stress!! Clearly its too much to ask that the staff here do their job properly. Awful service, awful staff, AVOID!!

I returned 3 parcels and the man who served me was unfriendly from the offset. I held my phone for him to scan the barcode and he made a motion with his hand, which I did not understand, and rather than voice what he wanted, he continued to motion with his hand in an agitated way, before finally telling me to move the phone back. He then handed me my receipts after scanning all parcels and I left. When I got home I looked at the receipts and realised he had only given me two. I called and queried and he advised I had left one. I asked how I could have left one when he only put two down and he kept saying I’d left one. I knew he was not being honest so I questioned why he didn’t tell me I left one as I began to walk off, to which he responded “well it’s not my job is it” and ended the call. I’m absolutely shocked at his attitude and also disgusted that he lied in the first place. I don’t understand why he gave me two receipts when he clearly still needed to print a third off and not tell me this. I work long hours and can only get to the post office on my lunch break, which I don’t always have time to do, so it’s very frustrating I am now going to have to find time to go back!

Horrible service. Rude and unfriendly. Never again. If there was a way to give a zero star rating then that would have been it.

I will not be using this post office again. When I went in the postmaster was on his mobile and was trying to serve me too. I had a special delivery item which I had paid for on line and all I needed to do was hand it in and get my paperwork stamped and a receipt. He did say that I had missed the last post for Thursday but it would go Friday, I didn't have an issue with that so my paperwork was stamped and I left. On Friday evening when I checked the tracking it was showing that I still had the package to send, this was also the case on Saturday lunchtime, I messaged Royal Mail to say that I was not holding this package and sent them a photo of my stamped receipt, low and behold I received a message from Royal mail on Saturday afternoon at 15.43 to say they had received the package and would deliver on Monday. I can't help but think that my package had probably been chucked on the side which is why it never shown any tracking on Friday.

Went to collect two Royal Mail parcels I’d had delivered direct to the post office as I wouldn’t be at home when they were scheduled to arrive. At first the guy working behind the counter said he didn’t have either parcel and aggressively demanded my email confirmations. I showed both and he again came back but only with one parcel. Again I had to insist I had confirmation the parcels had been delivered there and finally after a long wait (apologies to the other customers in the shop as he was the only staff member working) he reappeared with the other parcel. I pointed out to him that I found it a little bit concerning that he’d at first told me neither parcel was there (both parcels had arrived at the post office within 24 hours of me going to collect them) and now he’d returned with both of them. The staff member raised his voice and told me ‘we don’t get paid for this, get your parcels delivered somewhere else’ whilst smirking at me. Clearly this is a business that doesn’t care about its customers and more importantly and worryingly I don’t feel they can be trusted. Will never use again. Royal Mail as an organisation need to look into the individuals running this branch.

Very unhelpful, arrogant, dismissive post master. Went to the post office on the 3rd March to send off a small parcel. This is the 2nd time I've used this post office. The 1st time I used this post office I walked in and he was on his mobile and totally ignored me at first, when he decided to acknowledge that I was there he continued to try and serve me and talk on the phone at the same time on loud speaker. I told him to come off the phone as this is not good customer service and I do not appreciate listening to his conversation whilst trying to serve me. On completion of my transaction I noticed that the proof of address was typed In wrong, I told him that the address was wrong and needed corrected,he denied the address was written wrong until I told him to get my parcel and double check... Low and behold he had typed the address wrong!!! Why was it wrong? because he was on the phone and not providing good customer service. So rude!!!
The 2nd visit was the 3rd March I wanted to send a small parcel I walked in .. The Same man was behind the counter.. No smile, no hello, no nothing.. I told him I wanted to send the parcel... . No reply!! I had already put stamps on the parcel so all I needed was proof of postage. He took the parcel and just stood looking at me I said "can I have proof of postage????"
No answer he just did what he had to do and slid the receipt under the glass front.. Its now the 10 March my parcel still has not arrived to its destination in Nottingham!!!!
I send parcels all the time and from various post offices around Nottingham and even through 2020 of the pandemic I never had any parcels not arrive.. I have a feeling something is not right with that post office and he will not be getting my business again. Does he own the franchise? Why is he still there? Doesn't the post office look into the conduct of there post masters. I will definitely be contacting them about him. For a front facing role he should not be doing his job as clearly he does not enjoy what he is doing and it shows!! Get him out!
