GOOD SERVICE and HELPFULL FRIENDLY STAFF, cheap cold drinks and snacks.
Clean and bright inside.
ATM outside dispenses £20, £10 and £5 notes (very handy)
EASY CAR PARKING RIGHT OUTSIDE.
Good selection of stationary items and cheap cards and posting bags/boxes.

The counter service can't be faulted but as I stood and waited to be called a man delivering and stacking goods ushered me forward. I was hesitant as he a) failed to observe social distancing; b) wasn't wearing a mask and c) was coughing without putting his hand in front of his mouth. I was too stunned to comment and I didn't know how much authority the counter staff had over his behaviour. He may well have had a genuine reason to not wear a mask but to not cover his mouth while coughing was inconsiderate and beyond rude. Perhaps the counter staff, who will know who he is, will step up and ensure that rules are observed and consideration given to customers in these difficult times. I was equally surprised that there was no hand sanitiser available, at least none that I could see.

It's ok, it's a post office, it does what a post office should do. What isn't ok is the fact you have to play the guessing game when it comes to the opening hours. Google was update BY THE BUSINESS 9 hours ago stating it was open until 4pm today. It's not. It closed at 3pm.

The opening times shown on the post office door are as follows...

Mon - fri 9.00 - 5.30
Sat 9.00 - 3.00
Sun - closed

Hope this helps people avoid a wasted journey to a post office that isn't open.

This is local to me and very handy, particularly to collect Amazon parcels. The post mistress is very friendly and helpful and always smiling. I went there with my bike one day and forgotten my lock and she let me bring my bike in to the shop.

I’ve read some of the negative reviews on here and think they’re unjustified. Considering she has to contend with some unsavoury characters that go in there it doesn’t seem to phase her

This Post Office is listed on Royal Mail website as being "Priority postboxes", delivering and collecting Covid test and yet they make their own rules and refuse to help.The staff is rude and unhelpful. USELESS - AVOID!

Great post office, staff always friendly and helpful - even when I come in with a haul of packages! Opening times are also really good.

I have used this post office for a number of years and have always found the staff especially Mr King to be polite and friendly and willing to help with everything I need. I send a number of parcels and he always helps me to understand the easiest and cheapest way to send things.
