Whitmore Reans Post Office

Visited for the 1st time today to send a very important package (book) to the USA. Post Office staff (Manjit) was amazing, she could tell i was a novice to sending items so her service and support was outstanding, helped me every step of the way, patience, packaging, customs form, sending advice etc, Really impressed, restored my faith in the PO👌🏾

It was nice to go in a post office where the lady serving (Manjit) actually looked smart and official, and took the time to explain my options for sending my parcel. You can also park for free right outside.

Well as far as Post Offices go, it's not excitement of the century.
There's enough parking around, and you'll get the usual services typical of a Post Office, but there's always room for improvement.
The owners need to be more customer focussed especially as there's at least three or four other P.O within a two mile radius.

They must avoid argumentative situations and let people know their hours so they don't have their time wasted.

Moreover, even if the customer is'nt always right, no one some appreciates being offered something they didn't ask for, and if it's pointed out to the counter clerk, it's not vital that the clerk have the last word, or any one for that matter.

They should also be more prepared to go the extra mile. I am use to P.O being open until 5.30 not 4.50 or if the mail van has already collected from the. post box outside. If they're not doing the traditional things, they might as well pack up if they are finding it hard going.

I’ve been using this post office for 6 months now and I must say I haven’t had customer service like this before. Absolutely amazing, fast service and serve with a smile. I’ve had no complaints with my post. Definitely best post office in Wolverhampton.

The worst customer service I have EVER received. The Indian lady is extremely rude, defensive and has an attitude problem. I have not had ONE good experience with her. There are many people who are a lot more compatible for this job that who would be happy to replace her. I don’t understand why this post office is so adamant on keeping such a rude, miserable person there.

After the review I left just over a week ago, six fake 5 star reviews were left immediately after. I have noticed that these are always posted after someone left a real 1 star review. @RoyalMail instead of faking reviews how about you deal with the problem. 🙃

I am discusted with this post office last week it was really cold it was 5 minutes to 4pm they wouldn't let me in to return a parcel which would have taken two minutes cause it was packed and had return labels on them. Yesterday 6th May I was outside the post office with my parcel at 3.45pm the Asian lady refused to let me in and I was fuming i'm in a wheelchair it's hard enough as it is for me to carry my parcels I was knocking on the door she was ignoring me and my support worker which is not acceptable my support worker told her I was getting my return labels and would be there in 5 mintues she still reufussed to let me in. It's easy for her she is able to walk they need to be more helpful. I've been told by family members she's rude and has an attitude she used to be nice to me but I think lockdown has got to her head. This post office is to help people they should be closing at for not 20 minutes early people have work and rush there and end up annoyed with the behaviour they recieve. This Post Office needs to have more staff who are friendly & can help the disabled and elderly people. I was really annoyed and sad because of this treat people how you'd like to be treated that to RESPECT IS THE WAY FORWARD!

The Indian lady who served me was so rude, serious attitude problems. I would strongly suggest customer service training is in order with this particular lady. I'm moving to the area soon and although this post office is literally on my door step I will definately be avoiding it going somewhere else where I get treated with respect.

Great Service! Very helpful staff, especially Manjit! She always serves me, and is always very kind.
No other post office I would go too, this is by far the best one!
