I find the staff on the Post Office side are frequently ill-mannered and unprofessional. The younger staff on the shop side are courteous. However the shop on the whole is cluttered and untidy. Too many overpriced gift ideas crammed onto the shelves. Visiting this shop is not an experience to look forward to. Such a decline in standards since it was taken over from the previous owner. It’s a shame that a local amenity like this is no longer a nice focal point for the community.

Shockingly bad service… in line with all the other reviews. Good luck too if you venture in on a Sunday. Person not only unhelpful but the air smelt thick with cigarette smoke.

The website shows Saturday opening until 5.30pm. This is not correct and should be amended so people don't make visits to post parcels at 415pm as I did today, after I'd checked opening times.
The man in the shop is aware of the problem but nothing is being done to rectify.

Dropped in at lunchtime to return an item. After standing there for 5 minutes clearly holding the item to be returned and staff looking at me they finally said that as there were no collections that day I couldn’t use the returns service. I queried why, as they were a post office, I could not return it and leave it overnight as would usually happen if I had missed last collection. They just repeated there were no collections and I would have to come back tomorrow. Absolute zero customer service and an expectation that people can just call in at anytime. Why is this post office allowed to advertise services it clearly doesn’t want to offer?

Awful service since being taken over. The lovely little old man who used to run it was a dream. Now the women are extremely unapproachable, intimidating, there’s no prices on anything they make it up as they go along! It comes across like the women speak about customers too, in their native language to each other, whilst serving people.
I was charged £11 to send a parcel because their system wouldn’t accept my prepaid royal mail label (£3.20!!) Really giving the Post Office a Bad name. Mail strikes or no mail strokes, they just leave tens of parcels on the shop floor, you have to literally step over/ on them to reach products you want to buy!! The cello tape, fragile tape and flat pack boxes are behind the bags and bags of mail. I’m surprised somebody hasn’t stolen a parcel. Lack care and consideration.

Very dissatisfied with this post office. They automatically charge first class postage unless you specially state second class. I wonder how many vulnerable customers forget to specifically state second class unaware the post office's default is first class rather than clarifying with the customer.

Amazing experience knowing how much stress the staff was under due to the strikes, they was getting shouted at constantly by customers asking why there parcels hadn't left yet! Well done done for staying calm merry Christmas 🤶 🎄

VOTE WITH YOUR FEET! Incredibly rude service and scam pricing for the postal services. Really I'd suggest this man should not be involved with customers. Couple that with ridiculous markup on simple items. I shall now always go to Central Avenue they are lovely and deserve the trade or rwually great service at Farndon Green nr the QMC.
