Llandeilo Post Office

I'm not sure whether the previous reviewers are talking about the same Post Office that I have been been using !!! My experience has been that
they are really helpful, stay open til late, and are extremely friendly.

First class service. I live in Llandeilo and pop in often for various services. absolutely delightful people work here. Friendly and caring. Efficient, knowledgeable and helpful service with a big smile and warm welcome for both me and my dog Boise every time.. It is one of my favourite shops in Llandeilo. Thanks to you all. xx

Will never use again! had to post a few prepaid items here as my usual post office was closed due to flooding. I posted a few parcels and a few large letters but one was handed back to me after the woman tried to pass it through the royal mail large letter size slot and it touched the sides ever so slightly but yet still passed through without force. She said I would have to pay for it to be sent as a small parcel instead. I asked to test it myself and got it through easily, I then crushed the large letter box down slightly more so it passed through even easier but she still wouldn't accept it and told me to put it in the post box across the road where I wouldn't receive proof of posting. I have been posting the exact same packages at another post office for the past three years without any issues what so ever. This was a clear attempt to sell me another service for more money and nothing more, a formal complaint has now been made to the post office.

I've never found the Postmaster to be friendly or even personable in this store. But each to their own... However, last time I visited he was very unhelpful, rude, and totally unprofessional. I won't be going back, and would rather travel further than be subjected to that again.

I also agree with another reviewer RE trying to push the more expensive options. I always prepare my parcels before I take them and know what service I want. I've found that no matter who serves me they always try to push the more expensive options. Sometimes they offer two or three options, none of which are the standard delivery. I can only imagine that folks less used to what options are available would not even realise there is a standard/cheaper alternative and so will pay for a more expensive one unwittingly. Never had this in any other PO and I visit many different ones.

Disgusting attitude, no customer service skills an this is the owner. Shame on you what a disgrace for a beautiful town.

Yep, seen happier people in a dentists waiting room than the staff in the post office.

The man at the counter is very disrespectful and arrogant, I will file a report. 😤

I have always had a very welcoming helpful experience in llandeilo post office. Sending a wide range of parcels for work, they have always been helpful with advice and accommodating.
