Caerphilly Post Office

Great post office friendly staff

Good nice size post office and in a central location which is good. Free parking not far away. Helpful knowledgeable staff make using it easy too.

Booked travel monrey on a Friday to collect on the Sat morning at this post office after 11. I drove the 8 miles and got there a bit early at 10.30. I was told to come back at 13.00 as the post should have arrived by then, which was not convenient as I had to go to Airport. So I drove home, packed got the wife and went back down for 13.10. Money still not arrived. I then had to purchase £500 from there stock and left for the airport. On the way i called the main number for travel money at was told that it wasn't being delivered and was supposed to come out of there stock allalong. The fella on the phone cancelled the original order and said I would get refunded in 3 days.

If the lady had looked at my order instead of barking orders at the poor young lad I suppose she might have seen this. Luckily I was in a position to buy more but it could have spoilt someone's holiday

WH Smith seems to be quite messy every time I'm visiting, though the staff is friendly and helpful if you cannot find what you are looking for. I found this post office always quite crowded and often short staff.

Lovely, lovely staff, they are all always helpful, happy and efficient. They get things done quickly...even when there's a big queue

What a nightmare to renew my driving licence system down pain in the behind

Even though it can sometimes be busy the staff always work quickly through it and have a good attitude. Thanks to Rachel today. Compared to the two evil witches at the castle view Tesco branch, the staff here a breath of fresh air. Always worth travelling a bit further for

-Decent service
-Friendly staff member
-Short staffed so queue was quite long
-Had the stamps I needed to send international mail
