This institution is a terrible place to send your children to. They are entirely bureaucratic and power hungry, they especially dislike being told they are in the wrong, and will in fact punish students that speak out.

They only have their Ofsted rating to show for themselves, but if you ask any of the older students (especially the poor mistreated souls in the sixthform that have escaped the brainwashing) they will undoubtedly say that BDA is a school they are willing to escape.

The reason why the amount of External students is so high in the sixthform is due to the amount of existing students realising it isn't worth the pain to stay an extra 2 years.

If any of the faculty member reads this review, understand that this is not coming from a place of hate, but of pity.
Silencing this review would only prove my point.

Good day.

I have just got accepted I'm at another school and I have been waiting since September I don't care about what friends I had from primary that go to BDA just my learning and wellbeing obviously I want to go here but the bullying doesn't get sorted. When I went to the open day they showed sports and science then I read about it specialised in music and drama just be careful if you want to send your child here

This is a new primary school which started in September 2015, adding a much needed nursery unit this year 2017. Situated at the most northerly borders of Wood lane by the Borough lines of Brent and Kensington and Chelsea, Lisa Crispin Headteacher, makes a compelling description of her schools ethos which values the talents of its children AND STAFF. As an ex teacher myself that's good to know.

If you love your child, sanity and self respect ...I wouldn't bother with this school. They only care about school stats and kpi's. They expect all children to be in on time everyday although their school drive is shared with a special need school and a busy main road. A hospital hlf way down the Rd and a prison at the other end of the road. Traffic and congestion is a nightmare to and from. They start ridiculously early and the new head doesn't resolve issues instead her and the new understudy create them. They struggle to correct behaviour. R.I.P Mrs Crispin she was a lady with applauded character and made every child feel valued instead of 'an issue'. She didn't paint a smile to presume she knew what she was doing. Also their secretary is very rude pompous and intervening. He is unable to recite messages as said, also following up on requests definitely is not his strong point. Most times hes so confussed with the simplist of instructions, it does make me wonder what aptitude test he passed to make the job credibly his??? They create challenges for parents they accuse of defacing the schools character....anybody would think you paid the school to accept your child?? With little else option for space when your child has siblings, one has to be patient and pray for each day having their child subject to this extremely confused institution! If no stars was an option I'd be happy to rate exactly that.

At the beginning of year 7 which was about 5 years ago it was a brilliant school . It was rated outstanding by Ofsted. However the school started to slack . The teachers do not know how to deal with problems or issues . They do not provide proper teachers. They will leave you with cover teachers for the whole year (who don't know how to teach) and expect your child to go into an exam hall and do well . The education is appauling. Most of the good teachers have now left . And the bullying and fights that go on in this school is even worse . If you care about your child's safety and education I strongly advice you not to apply for this school

My Daughter used to love the school, liked all the teachers and the other kids. After she went back after the summer break in yr 8 her behaviour started to change in october she was anxious and upset. She told me she was being bullied. No one cares its a disgrace. She is to scared she has not been in school since December. She refuses to go back. Iam reporting them to ofstead.

Difficult to give a reasonable advice about this school. Teachers are doing a good job, staff is friendly. My children have good memories of Ms Khan, Ms Morris, Ms Stone and Ms Butts. However, bullying at Burlington Danes is awful and the staff don't know how to deal with; I guess they are too lax. Most of students are awful with the ones who want to study and no action is taken. The environment is terrible for quiet students and for the teachers as well. It could have been a fantastic school if students were well educated.
