Apprentus

The platform is wonderful! I worked with other platforms before but Apprentus is the best one so far! I do recommend it. If you are planning to work as a tutor, Apprentus is the right one.

Useful platform to find students and teachers alike. The team is pretty responsive and communicates in a professional manner.
From a teacher's perspective, maybe some improvements could be made in the use of the platform as it is not always very intuitive or flexible.

The platform is great for anyone who want to learn and teach

Bad website, huge commission fee on students. Lack of freedom for the teacher.
Go somewhere else, there are plenty of other platforms that take less money for much better services.
Apprentus are rats.
Of course, their community manager will respond to this message and say otherwise.

Here are some details:

- The students must pay for creating an account. Then Apprentus take commissions fee for each lesson.
If a teacher asks for 25€/h, Apprentus will charge around 28€/h to the students. Which is huge when you think about it!
Thus, in that example, for 30h of course, apprentus will take 100€ from you !
And then they will tell you that they don't take commissions fee...

- They absolutely want the student to book the classes on their platform. Why? Because otherwise, bye bye the commission fee.

- It is impossible to exchange contact details or document between teacher and students before booking a lesson.

- Impossible to offer a first free hour of lesson to test and evaluate the need of the students.

It is not a website to promote knowledge sharing, it is a website to make money. Not for the teachers, but for the owners.

A great platform to use and engage with its been very successful for me.

Hello, I am an English and French teacher. I am very practiced in oral and written communication. I supervise students, professionals and individuals wishing to speak fluently these languages ​​. Do not hesitate to contact me as soon as possible.

I think that this is a great platform which enables students and teachers to find each other, and have so far had a positive experience of promoting my creative writing classes there. It's also useful how they handle the payment, as it means that you are not having to chase students to pay for a class.

There was a gap of a few days between seeing that my student had paid Apprentus, but not having received anything from them - yet not to worry as payment now has been made. I would be interested to see how Apprentus could expand their reach by connecting with other social media platforms.

This is a really easy platform to use as a tutor to conduct lessons. I like the interface and the ease with which I can find new students.
