Pauline and her team, Barry and Lee, were very friendly and professional while viewing properties and throughout my tenancy! Quick to reply to phone calls/emails and always available when needed. No issues with move out or return of the deposit - so much better than other letting agents I have dealt with in the past. I would 100% recommend this company.

Amethyst really have restored my faith in letting agents! I’ve had some bad experiences but I’ve been a tenant with amethyst for over 2 years now and Pauline and Barry (and all the other staff) have been so welcoming and helpful throughout. If there’s an issue it gets sorted with no blame games. If there’s confusion or misunderstanding, they communicate in a professional and understanding way and always work for the best interests of both the land lord and the tenant. I recently had a change of landlord with the house being sold and they were very conscious of me and my situation throughout the process which went smoothly and I was barely affected. They make me feel like a valued tenant. A lovely family business they have.

Viewed a house, pressured to put holding deposit down, done that, an issue came up in my partners referencing which we explained (blended family, his ex owed money to a property but he’s had to pay it off as he worked and she didn’t and he was on the tenancy after the split), told if we paid what was owed we could continue with letting the property so within 45 mins, paid what was owed on said property for him to tell us they’ve found somebody else after saying once the issue was sorted the house was ours. Would never use amethyst again.
