I stayed here when on a walking holiday as wanted to walk St. Cuthberts way. Found this to be a delightful property ideally located and was of a very high standard. I would really recommend staying here.

Just back from a 4 night stay at Painters Cottage - very enjoyable and everything well taken care of due to current circumstances - would definitely go back.
