It's exam period and lots of students in the study area/reference library section.
Some computers still available for use and of course, printers. At times, it's difficult to get a seat.
Wifi throughout the library even when you use the toilets in the lower ground floor.

I was looking for a place to work from this area, and this is just perfect: beautiful building, quiet, bright and well equipped, dozen of desks, very helpful staff. It's also possible to print docs for a very good price (£0,20 per page as of today) compared to Ryman, for example. And the cherry on the cake: INCREDIBLY fast & free internet connexion, 400 Mbps in download, 600 Mbps in upload (and that's with Wifi... didn't test the RJ45 plugs!) much much better than any internet café in the whole city; super practical as I needed to upload big files. 5 thumbs up!

I joined the library because I can't get used to reading from my ipad. There was a really lovely and helpful lady at the desk and she explained everything to me and helped me with what I needed.

It's also great that you have access to all Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea libraries for free!!!

Another thing I really appreciate is self-check out kiosks so you can quickly borrow or return books.

I joined about a year ago and it's great. You've got access to all the major libraries in RBKC so there's a big selection on the catalogue. It's air conditioned in the summer which I'm thankful for and the buildings have beautiful exteriors. It's hard to take out books longer than 2 weeks, irrespective of length so you need to renew multiple times if you read slow or have a big read planned. I've racked up fines pretty quick being disorganized. I like requesting items, you get a text when they're there and so it's super easy to collect.

It is quite a big library. If you have the City of Westminster Library Card you can borrow any book. The first floor has a nice study area, access to computers and scanners.
The only downside is that the library closes too soon both in Fridays and Saturdays (they close at 5pm)

Nice place to study. However, library officers should warn people who are not quiet and respectful. Some people, come there to play computer games ( sound on) or chat. They also manage bad odour in the library which is caused by crowd, sweat smell, and eating at the library. Security should warn noisy and disrespectful people. Allover it is nice place to read or study.

New opening time is below. I took the photo on 11th of October at 6pm

I really like the study area and the fact that the library has Wi-Fi that you can use as you’re doing work. The only thing is it can get crowded during exam seasons etc. but there always tends to be space somewhere.

Currently using the reference library and computers a lot. Superb big screens, helpful staff, good clear signs for reference sections. Great place to work. The only sadness it is busy than i hoped.
