Never go to this car park as you will be coming back with a fine even if you payed. NCP don't even try to help sort out any issues, no way to appeal. we parked therefor 2 hrs and payed for 2 hrs, and we did not stay for 2hrs. and we still got a fine, honestly a company which tries and suck up your money.

BEWARE!!! Make sure you pay at the right machine. On my first ever visit to Gloucester I got a £60 fine for parking in the NCP car park and unwittingly getting a ticket from the nearest machine which happened to be owned by Gloucester City Council. When you get out of the car once you've parked you just look for the nearest yellow 'Pay Here' sign, right? Why would you have two car parks next to each other, sharing the same entrance, owned by two different companies? Reading all the bad reviews on Google it seems that people are regularly being caught out by this!

DO NOT USE THIS CARPARK! But if you do use it make sure you pay at the correct pay machine the NCP one not the Gloucester City Council one or you'll get a ticket for non payment. Not that you would know as both carparks look exactly the same, untarmaced and pretty rough. It has taken me endless emails and calls to find out what I had done wrong after I had appeal to both NCP (rejected) and POPLA. Customers services is nice enough but the organisation is all automated so nothing can be resolved by anyone and you are sent pillar to post and still have to pay the full £100 at the end. It has really shaken me and is keping me awake at night on where to find the money to pay the fines (there are two), awful!!

I parked here with friends a few weeks ago whilst shopping. My friend paid for the correct amount of parking, displaying the paid for ticket on my dashboard as instructed. I ended up with a £60 fine in the post a few weeks later. We paid for the correct amount of parking and despite my appeal attempts, ended up paying the fine. It just wasn’t worth the stress and anxiety it was causing. It’s worth noting that CCTV is not operated in this area conveniently enough for them, so don’t waste your time requesting the CCTV showing you followed their guidelines, it will fall on deaf ears (or a deaf automated system as you can’t speak to a human being). Your appeal response will consist of three lines repeating what they are already accusing you of & providing no further information (despite this being requested). DO NOT PARK HERE. Yes it may be close to where you want to be, but this trip was most definitely not worth the expense and stress it has caused me in the long run. Absolutely appalling company.

Paid over the top to park for a few hours only to receive a parking fine a month later. Awful car park - AVOID!!!

Total rip off. Avoid at all cost as it does cost. The most overpriced car park I’ve ever been to!!!

Sent £100 parking charge note despite paying at machine - wasting my time weeks later. Worth noting that Gloucester City Council car parks immediately adjacent to this one (Ladybellegate Street, and Longsmith Street multi-storey) are less than half the cost (based on a 1 hour parking charge). The money goes to support local services too.

AVOID this car park at all costs! Wish I had read the reviews before. I too was caught out by paying for the Council car park when I was apparently parked on the private NCP side of the car park. I was parked up for 10 minutes and received a fine through the post for £60.
