NCP Car Park Croydon Whitgift

I went here hoping to park while I attend for my biometric appointment at the home office but when I arrived a man that works there said it it’s currently being used as private car parking only. That was so disappointing as the website stated that it was a public car park. So we drove away and luckily found a parking space on the side road. I paid parking for 2hrs to be in the safe side and it cost £6.00

Way over priced, feels like being rip-off!
Weekday price £3.2 per hour for just a parking space, serious?
Paying machine at 1/F doesn't work and no one care about it.
Exit is tricky & narrow you may kerb your wheels easily.
Better avoid.

The good news is that they have an entire floor devoted to Disabled parking, the bad news is they charge full price! So, the floor is almost always empty because people know that they can park outside on a yellow line with a badge for free!!
Also, the disabled floor should be on the same level as the top layer of the Whitgift Centre so that you don't have to use the urine smelly lifts or attempt to go down the car slope without hitting the oncoming cars!!
Obviously the "designer" has never had to push a wheelchair before!

It is hard to describe how absolutely filthy this car park is. The smell of urine is everywhere, on every floor and every corner, it is overwhelming, I felt sick today and every other day I have had to park my car there to go to work; you can actually see the puddles of urine near the payment points. Can someone do something about that? You are not providing the service we pay for. I cannot believe i read a review that said that it is clean!

They are charging an absolute fortune for parking! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I think they are trying to deter people from shopping.

And the parking is very poor quality, easy for people to walk in and break into your car and walk out. No security.

This car park has had features added to help make it secure which is a very good thing. Had a bit of a problem getting back in as my ticket wouldn't swipe to unlock the door. Another customer came to my rescue.

Expensive - and at that price you would hope they could keep the pedestrian exits clean. Absolutely stank of urine. Very unpleasant. Couldn't find the machine to pay so used the online payment option which was OK.

Plenty of parking spaces, clean very popular with shoppers secure plent of security cameras, it well lit there is always movement of shoppers during the day.

I use this car park whenever I go into Croydon.
