Sandford Parks Lido

A wonderful outdoor pool. Social distancing in place. The pool is large and there are plenty of space to change in a small square, which is socially distanced. There are family swim sessions to bring the children. Good direction to allow for social distancing measures. Staff were friendly. Good snack bar.

An excellent lido with somewhat heated pool that was not too chilly. We went during 21C degree weather, and bear in mind as with all outdoor pools you'll need to dip your head in to get warm but it wasn't cold. Went during the adult day which had fast, medium and slow lanes in a long pool, counter clockwise and clockwise. Very clean. The fountain provides a lovely atmosphere as you're swimming your lengths or relaxing in the slow lane, as the water cascades soothingly in the background. Grade II listed makes you feel like there's some history there. Would go again!

Lovely big pool with two slides, the day I went was cooler but still was a great swim. The cafe and sauna were not open but look forward to trying next time. Changing rooms were traditional and showers hot.

This is a lovely outdoor pool! It's heated, so not too cold. And it's HUGE! it's got a couple of fun slides in the big pool. And it's a beautiful place. There's a small kids playground and a cafe and grassy areas to sit or sun bathe in. It was just perfect for a hot sunny day.
The changing rooms are a bit basic, but it's utterly worth it.

What a smashing location!! We are doing SUP yoga classes in the pool, so much fun! Great staff, great location, great cafe! What's not to love?!?!

I went to the dog swim it was an amazing experience for my dog and was lots of fun! The water was relatively warm considering and we found that my partner got colder put of the water! I'd highly recommend two people one in and one out. The person out should dress as if the mother of all storms is coming though! Great day great fun.

Amazing cold water swimming in the winter. A lovely supportive community of regulars. (I'm told it's heated in the summer!)
Shame they aren't dog friendly, see no reason why he couldn't sit on the grass while we had a coffee afterwards.
