It was hands down the best food we had in Colchester. I just wish we had visited earlier rather than last day before the drive home!!!!

The handmade noodles were so tasty. Abs gyoza here is quite unusual but it really worked. I’d recommend this to anyone who wants to try good Asian food in Colchester.

This was a small authentic restaurant with amazing ambience, the food was incredible and as someone who eats Japanese food often I would highly recommend. The staff were very friendly. If you get a chance try it as it is very reasonably priced.

I visited this little restaurant yesterday for the first time and it is so down to earth! The interior was cute and minimalistic. And the food was amazing! I had ramen before in other places but this was the best one I have tasted so far :) the staff are also really friendly and hard working! I will make sure to visit again soon.

Initially ordered Sous Vide Guy-Don (rice), but sold out. We then had Hell’s Beef Ramen, Mayu Tonkotsu Ramen and Pork Ginger and Leek Gyoza. Beef was tender and pork was authentic. Ramen’s quality was pretty high. Soup’s flavour can be stronger. Hell’s beef ramen is not spicy enough for a spicer eater. Unclosed end’s Gyoza is not we expected. As it makes the tasty juice comes out. So that the meat becomes less flavour and a bit dried. Price is a bit high, especially in Colchester. Anyway, we will visit next time.

Absolutely loved our experience here. Brilliant food and a lovely romantic atmosphere in a beautiful interior. I was worried that my ramen wouldn't be as good because I had the vegetarian one but the broth was so flavourful, my tofu was juicy, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. You could tell that the noodles were freshly made too which made all the difference. I liked that the portions were big enough that you didn't feel pressured to order sides, as I was surprisingly stuffed afterwards. The green tea I had with my meal was a delicate and floral loose leaf tea, not like the cheap green teabags you get in a lot of restaurants. Cannot wait to come back.

Such a hidden gem. You'll likely need to book as there are only around eight tables total, but once you arrive be ready to have some amazing ramen and experience some top-quality service.

It's a relatively small menu but there were about five dishes I wanted to try, so I could see myself coming back again soon.

Really authentic and healthy food. Service quick and professional. One star knocked off as there was no Soy sauce on the table, meaning you couldn't add some as you wish, and I'm not used to it not being there as a standard.

The gyoza are handmade in an original shape, delicious, but we found them hard to pick up. I like ingenuity but not for the sake of it.

This restaurant has been on my Colchester to-do list for too long. We arrived at 5pm without a reservation and was luckily accommodated. Atmosphere is cosy and pleasant and staff very friendly and provided excellent customer service. A tight menu serving an exciting range of ramen and additional dishes. Will definitely eat here again soon.
