Avoid at all cost! Berkeley’s are the worst letting agents I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
They are rude and there communication is diabolical. So glad I don’t have to deal with them ever again now I have moved home. The staff at the barrow office are the worst they lie and always use the excuse of there “waiting to hear from the landlord” but after being in direct contact with my landlord it’s clear there all liars! Luckily after going through the Leicester branch I eventually got some contact and was given back my rent deposit after many months of calling Berkeley’s barrow office, don’t know why they have a phone as no one ever answers it!!

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. If I could give zero stars I would. I have gone 11 days without hot water after numerous emails and attempts to report online using their system. Then when I tried to arrange my own maintenance person via the landlord, they stopped the visit. My son was in tears when I tried to give him a bath by trying to fill the tub with water from a kettle. This was our Christmas. The agents were probably having a much better festive time.

I have been a great tenant for over two years, paying rent on time and never needed them. The ONE time I have, it's been shambles.

I had to eventually just leave and go stay with friends in Scotland (as I don't have any family in the UK other than my son) after my attempt to get them to fix it seemed to fall on deaf ears. It was only when I got to Scotland that I got a call from a maintenance guy, Adam. I have a new landlord as my flat got sold and I have recommended he change estate agents for BOTH our sakes.
