Houses are very well maintained

Viewed a flat to rent and submitted application. Not heard anything back for days so decided to give them a call. A lady answered, didn't introduce herself, and I've asked about the status of the application at which point she decided to either go quiet or put phone down on the desk and ignore me as I could still hear background noise and someone talking. Incredibly bad management.
