I have viewed multiple flats and houses over the years and Alfie was the first estate agent to come armed with information that was extremely useful and informative both about the property and the location. So far, other estate agents haven’t always known vital information such as, how old and where the boiler is, is the loft boarded, whether certain changes can be made etc. all questions that as a purchaser you want to know. It was obvious that he had taken the time to research the property, get all of the background information in advance from the freeholder, and was able to answer all of my questions on the day.

Alfie was professional, friendly, well prepared and helpful throughout. It has been extremely refreshing to have an estate agent who is clearly very good at his job. Thank you!

Although I was purchasing the property, so therefore Wood & Pilcher were acting for the vendors and in their interests, I found all staff went out of their way to be helpful, and the communication was excellent. From arranging an early viewing to suit me, as I was moving into the area, to chasing the other agents and solicitors in the chain to keep things moving and holding them together, their handling was exemplary. This is my ninth move. It was far and away the most stressful, but I would say that Wood and Pilcher are the best agents I have ever dealt with, both as a seller and a buyer. After using 2 extremely shady and untrustworthy estate agents in Tunbridge Wells to sell my flat, I then found Wood & Pilcher who were AMAZING! They have been on top of everything and a pleasure to deal with and the best bit was that I felt they didn't make promises they can't keep or try the hard sell. Wood & Pilcher were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. They made every effort to keep the transaction moving forwards and kept us well informed throughout the process.

Our first impression of this estate agent was OK but not great. When we first viewed the property we ended up purchasing the estate agent didn't seem overly engaged or knowledgeable about the property; it seemed that they were only interested in telling us that there was already an offer on the house.

However, after that experience, I believe we dealt with someone else for putting in the offer and liaising for everything else, which was a much better process. Wood and Pilcher were generally friendly and responsive throughout. They remained engaged throughout the whole process which was reassuring and made the process a little less nerve-wracking.
