Extremely poor customer service! Julie is extremely rude and does not have a way of speaking to her customers. While i was a tenant at one of the properties they managed, it took extremely long to get something fixed. They only care about their money and will try to charge you for almost everything they can. I would definitely NOT recommend them to anyone!!

Newmans found me a tenant for a house in Leamington Spa. The tenant was not working and had 2 county county judgements against her. Newmans did not inform me that the tenant they had found me was not working and that she had 2 county court judgement against her. She was a tenant from hell and she caused around £8,000 damage to the house.
Please be very wary of using Newmans Letting agents in Leamington Spa.

Extremely poor customer service. I will not recommend using their service. Poppy Wilkens -Letting agent was extremely rude and lacked professionalism. I requested her to wait for 10 minutes as my meeting aligned simultaneously. She was not ready to wait (according to her, she would waste her time) or provide me another time slot.

I was a tenant with Newman for 2 years and had no issues with them.
The property was well looked after when we did the viewing and clean to an acceptabled level, similar to when we moved in (I don't believe a professional cleaning was carried out, but still ok).
The agency was quick on talking to the landlord about our request to remove some furniture from the house and sorting out the contract.
They've always forward my maintenance requests to the landlord and replied to "most" of my emails. The email response has improved recently since they've created a dedicated email for maintenance requests.
Also any inspection or contractor's visits were communicated by email early enough so I could plan to be at the property on those days.
I didn't have any issues with agents or with the return of my deposit (the house was returned in a really good condition similar to when we moved in ofc).

The only reason for a 4 star review is one maintenance request we had on the radiator (not major since it was summer) took a really long time to get fixed. The landlord has requested it to be checked by his plumber in aditional to Newman's plumber, which has cause some delay and confusion. I believe that at the end Newman's contractor had an approved order to fix it, but was postponing it since it was summer and nobody followed up with him (me or Newman).

Julie and Poppy are a god send. Honestly from start to finish I found them to be polite, professional and above all else they were approachable.

When calling or dropping by the office, nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. When requesting anything in relation to repairs, our land lord was responsive and Newmans sought to get the issues resolved as soon as they possibly could.

I can only assume that other negative reviewers have maybe been met with the same respect and level of customer service as they are presenting. Always worth treating others how you would like to be spoken and treated yourself as my experiences with Newmans are a far cry from the negative reviews left below.

I will be back with you again in the new year. :)

Really bad estate agents. Julie is useless and has no idea what she is doing, probably worst agent I've come across. They just want to take your money and are extremely rude and lack any intelligence. Came into the office to speak them and they were eating their food while I was speaking to them and was chomping on their food while talking to me. If you have any self respect you would go anywhere else and avoid these unprofessional scammers. You have been warned!!!!

VERY POOR, UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE - AVOID!

We arranged a viewing of a house to rent on Thursday. When we turned up the current tenant would not answer the door and had put a key in the lock so the agent could not get in.
The agent was very apologetic and told us she would rearrange the viewing and make sure we were the first to view the property. We agreed to this and said we were very keen to rent the property, but of course needed to have a look inside before we did. We told the agent that the house ticked most of our boxes and we would likely take it following a viewing.

The viewing was rearranged for Saturday, we turned up and the same agent was showing the property to another couple. We were a little shocked after what the agent told us, but we went on with the viewing. The house did tick all our boxes, so despite the messing around we agreed to take it and handed the agent our completed application form.

On Monday we had an email to say our application was not successful, as the landlord had decided to go with one of the other applicants.

We are VERY frustrated, when we were told we would be the first to view the property... I don' know why an agent would say that to a couple who had told them they'd take the house, pending a viewing and then arrange other applicants to view. This seems very poor and very unprofessional to me.

I initially met Nathaniel when he came to value our property. He was really friendly, easy going and was honest about what he thought about our house which we appreciated. We met him again a few months later at viewings for other properties. Again, he was really friendly and was a massive help in helping us decide which one was best suited to our needs.
Due to unforseen circumstances our sale/purchase took over 7 months to complete. During this time he always called back when I called, text me back straight away and advised when and where needed. He also put me in touch with Jessica Nobel who deals with sales progression.
From the first time I spoke to Jess she had the same friendly manner about her that Nathaniel did. She kept me up to date with all the going ons and when I found things too tough to handle she was more than sympathetic and realistic about what may or may not happen.
I can not recommend both Nathaniel and Jess highly enough!
