I had lived in the UK as a university researcher for several years. This property agency gave me the worst experience in UK. I got the contract for a lovely flat in Marlborough Road for only 6 months first. I was working with Matthew at Daniels. They lied to me completely, as they did not tell the truth that my landlady will sell the flat soon and it was even on the market (secretly). But Matthew said to me, the landlady just wanted to find a good tenant by having a trial time for six months first. So, I was naive and trusted the Daniel's! However, on the day I moved into the flat, they put the FOR SALE mark in front of my flat. I got upset and called them, and they lied me again- said there was no way and it was a mistake.. They removed the SALE sign for a month but in the end Daniels sold my flat and asked me to move out! Although they gave me for some time to find a new flat, it was a complete fraud for me. If I knew my landlady will sell the flat, I will never rent the flat only for 6 months. When I complained it to the Daniels team they lied me again - they were like they did not know about the landlady''s thought. However, my upper floor neighbour told me, there was no way that the Daniel's did not know it because the previous tenant before me moved out due to the notice from Daniels about the flat sale plan!

Nonetheless, I tried to understand the situation and moved out from the flat. The Daniels team really said that they were willing to pay my British Gas Bill as I needed to pay for vacating my flat. I thought that they felt sorry for my moving again. So, I gave them my bill paper and received my deposit very soon. It was in September 2019. (for the last time, Chris at Daniel's was a good person to solve out all situation though.)

However, now in 2022 I am staying in my home country, and contacted by a legal company in UK for the British Gas Bill. Yes, I can pay for the bill as I have money and I used the gas. But the Daniels property agency should be judged by what they had done for me especially with their fraud and lie.

Please do not trust this property agency. If you avoid this property agency, that is your luck!

From the initial conception of our conversion project, Chris provided support, design ideas and forecasted values and rents, all clearly evidenced by comparable properties. The support and advise continued throughout the project only being topped by Matthew managing to let all 6 units to tenants who were all vetted and moved in within one month.

Matt and Chris were professional and honest and remained true to their word at all times — very positive experience compared to all other estate agents we have dealt with. They communicated at every stage and went above and beyond to move the chain along. Very reassuring to know our buyers were receiving the highest level of service from them and we would use them again in a heartbeat.

Good guidance on price setting and marketing of the property from the outset. Daniels clearly understand the local market. Very clear and regular communications throughout the process from Chris and Matt including feedback on the viewings and liaison with solicitors.
